I had a bioproshetic valve fitted in 2021, worst decision I ever let myself get talked into. I spent 7 days in ICU, some sort of hydration of my lungs and I have never made a full recovery. I now have ongoing shortness of breath and dizziness. Never had a problem prior to surgery. Currently there are some symptoms of heart failure but the doctors that talked me into this situation will not acknowledge that there is a problem. I have no idea if the donkey valve or the recovery process is to blame but I would do anything to get the valve out.
Hi wow we have exactly same problem I got same valve as u 3.5 years ago never fully recovered, always feeling fatigue and shornest of breath is my everyday thing,well luckily last year I when to a different doctor and after months of different testing, they discovered my aortic valve it's shutting down its not opening all the way like it's supposed to so finally after a year waiting I will be having my aortic valve replace in 3 weeks from now ,they're going with a mechanical valve this time ,should've have done that from the beginning...but thanks God will be done !!! Why would a heart valve disintegrate upon opening chest? They were going to replace it and she had covet 19 2 years ago. Could this be a result of having covet19?
My left heart vale is getting smaller I am scared
