Quantum Mechanics of Photosynthetic Light Harvesting Machinery
    Presented by Mohan Sarovar
    October 22, 2010
    ABSTRACT
After a brief discussion about the conditions required for quantum effects to be relevant in biological systems, I will focus on recent advances in our knowledge about the quantum nature of the primary processes in photosynthesis. I will review some of the experimental results and theoretical predictions regarding quantum aspects of the sophisticated molecular machinery behind photosynthesis, including coherent energy transfer and robust quantum entanglement. To conclude I will present a new direction of research that aims to harness the quantum properties of pigment-protein structures to create tunable and versatile light sensors and photovoltaic devices.

When I took a public speaking course we were penalized for Umms and Uhhhs. Theyd use a clicker and tally then against you. Later I read several articles stating that when people completely remove them from speeches they are less understood. The uhhs and umms allow people to process instead of just hearing. If you have removed them remember to pause after important ideas.

How wher what kind of laboratories were used to perform expt. for quantum entanglement in LHC by Mohan sarovar sir ..
Plz give some details sir... It's really needed..

I wonder if the split at @35:00 has to be there so energy can be extracted *from* the walk

For the people complaining about ums: I sensative to ums, but I didn't notice it at all (I watched on 1.5 speed).

I didn't understand a word of this. I'm glad I'm not being graded on this!

It might be said that Classical Particle Physics is only a familiar veneer of QM wave-package coherent Integration, and the Navier-Stokes Equation is more "realistic" to base Intuitions on.
    The "Ultraviolet Catastrophe" contines...
If the design and function of the old Landline Telephone Exchange is used as the basis of a Thought Experiment, and the rotary number selectors are modelling the axial-tangential frequency jumping, then the distribution network models timing duration rates and reflection-recirculation of the abstract in-form-ation of the universal wave-package. Turbulent spirals in spirals or "ghosts" of particular wave-package resonances in frequency and amplitude modulation. It's a familiar circuitry situation to Electronic Radio and TV experience, but in a distracted, misattributed identification, of the actual mechanism that is QM-TIMESPACE, and much the same can be said for any field of study and specializations linguistically.
My personal choice of energy harvesting analogy is the dust extraction cyclone, used in Vacuum Cleaners for example, that models resonance imaging of multi-phase superimposed frequency interference positioning Images. It's deliberate over-simplification in order to illustrate the basic Principle of Modulation Mechanism of probabilities in potential possibilities for Time Duration Timing-spacing.

Barbara Shipman is doing research that seems to suggest honeybees have a link to quantum fields and maybe can even percieve them.
