This is, definitely, why I am not a Coach because I see absolutely NO reason whatsoever to have RL9 on the pitch for 90 minutes just gathering dust in the hopes that he can score a miracle goal. Sometimes, it is needed but other times, he needs to be subbed right in the 2nd half, more so due to his age. This goes for everyone who is not playing as well as the team needs. We all have our bad days and this would be my philosophy with the guys. Pau Victor may not score but at the 55+ minutes, the team needs a different Dynamic, we can't be sending RL9 long balls only for him to lose them or be pushed and we lose it due to bad Refs. This is crazy but what about if we bring Auba back? ON the other hand, we brought Joad Felix that could be a bit more finicky that Rashford, we paid 60M for Ferran + another 40M for Vito so what's 9M in the grand scheme of things
Ofc that is exactly the reason you are not the coach. Accept it or not, but lewa is currently the best option we have. Love him or hate him. He's still good in holdup plays deep in midfield. And 9 million for rashford is a rip off. If barca had burnt money in the past, doesn't mean they need to burn more. Also, FFP still limits our wage bill. So we can't sign Rashford on 9 million in wages, even if we are willing to. Sorry,i didn't mean to be too negative
@@Utkarsh-w2d Why are we always looking for a LW? What shows this to Raphinha, our best player right now? You want to push him in the center, taking out his speed that is his main pros?
Ronnie is leaving this summer and the 65mil is the go head price for his departure. All this after he said " I heard the fans yell at me to stay at Barca, BLAH BLAH BLAH." This is shaping up to be a mutual agreement for the summer. Ronald goodbye and goodluck! PEACE OUT!
3m for Rushford i will take him. Yes he is not playing good recently, but i still like his movements and positions. And i believe Flick can make him a good player again
I can see Araujo point of view. nothing really changed, Cubarsi and Martinez still preferred CBs for Flick. BUT, it's a huge gamble for an injury prone player, if he pick up an injury by the end of the season could risk any summer move even for just 65m
If/when we finish second in the Champions league we will play 15. or 16. placed team in the group. Also, we will play each return leg of the knockout stage (1/8,1/4 and 1/2 finals) of CL at home. Visca Barça ❤💙
It took 6 months for Jamie and company to finally realize Olmo is an Injury Prone Player. That’s why I never thought of him as a Starter for any team. He’s a “Super Sub”. Like Seydou Keita back in the day. He’s a good player, but the team can’t depend on him to be a Starter.
I don’t like this commentary on Araujo. Honestly, we could use more players like Araujo that give the club realistic options like this. This current project has this season and next season to produce hardware. The success of this project will be determined by the hardware we win these next 2 seasons. After that a new project needs to begin lead by our core group of very young players. Players cannot stay forever at Barcelona if we want to keep being competitive.
Araujo wanted a contract where he wins no matter what, and we walked right into it. Now we’re stuck with a key player who doesn’t even want to be here and is eager to leave for worse teams. He’s on the market for just €65 million, without us having any say in negotiations. And to make it worse, we handed him a 5.5-year contract with a €200k-per-week salary until 2031, despite his him clearly wanting to leave. And yeah, I know some of you will say, “His contract was running out,” but that’s on us. We’re the ones who let it run down without securing anything. Tell me, when has a club like Real Madrid ever found themselves in a mess like this? We should honestly get an award for how good we are at losing all leverage.
Listen Cubarsi is the present and future. Ronald is fantastic and we need his qualities but we can replace him. Tah isn't as block buster but he is well rounded, and we rely on players that can play from the back, especially because we play very narrow, Inigo and Pau can find those lanes, Ronald alters the way we build up and Koundé is shaky in the first phase. When Pau plays on the right that side is locked.
The Olmo’s signing makes no sense at all on a financial, fitness, and impact level! Remember, when we signed him, we had several options in that number 10 role: Fermin, Torre, Gavi and Raphinha. That transfer fee could have been used or reserved for a LW.
What are the sources that says araujo’s release clause is 65million? Other reports say it is close to 300million Jamie, please stop echoing the narratives of the Madrid based media, who try to have the fans turn on players like a araujo and dejong. We trust you, and we count on you to not simply echo on baseless reports. It was olmo first, then araujo leaving…
I wanna ask all of the culers out there who still simp for Dejong, what is your rationale? Last week I watched the match with Bayern Munich again ( yes, that one). DeJongs performance was woeful. And it hasn't improved.
They should come and take him. At this point I will only cry over Inigo and Cubarsi not Araujo. Because was a disaster against Benfica which we haven't seen from Inigo and Cubarsi since this season
Araujo does not need a better agent because his agent and araujo got what they wanted, instead Barca need better agents because Barca agreed to that release clause 🥲
Sometimes it feels like our boys play down to teams level and get caught out... Let's walking out on the pitch as if we are facing Vardrid and give Valencia another fiver 🖐🏾
I think if we do keep the same players in the starting 11 I would maybe consider playing Gavi LW, and Raphinha AM. Raphinha has had a few good performances at AM and I think there are instances we need movement into the spaces Lewa creates from occupying CBs or spaces created from Yamal keeping his width and dragging a FB out, and Raphinha would do that a little better than Gavi has so far. Plus Gavi has shown his ability to link up with Balde down the left before. In the passed few games Kounde has been the player making some of those runs when he's inverted and he has scored, but that means our RB area could be targeted if we lose possession cheaply. Olmo would normally be making those runs brilliantly or find ways to glue things together
So let's break it down. No renewal, we either lose Araujo for free or for maximum 50 mil. With the renewal, we at least get 6 months more, on a higher salary though, but if we then lose him, we at least get 15 mil more, + we most likely will already get Tah on a free as a replacement. If he then does stay, we have him on a long-term contract, and a top top defender. It's a good piece of business from Barca even if he leaves in the summer.
Though that release clause is 65 millon but there are many occasions where clubs dont pay the release clause they want to bid more than the release clause in order to maintain better ffp
This is why I love Laporta not letting Barcelona be in a rush to take lower fee for him in transfer just cus his contract is getting off, with this barca has Strong stand on either 65 or he's not leaving 😂
We should still prioritize the atalanta game because if we stay in second place in the UCL table we will avoid liverpool until the final. The seeding does matter, finishing 2nd isn't the same as 8th.
So Hansi Flick wants to keep Eric Garcia amongst 6 other midfielders with at most one or two other backups in the defensive role, but Flick doesn't see the need or desire to keep Ansu at left wing, a position with almost literally no backup for Raph. To me Flick has given up too soon on Ansu, injuries have lowered the boy's confidence. Maybe I'm wrong but a great coach should be able to take a player at his lowest point, and transform him into a great one like how the patience and chance giving of Carlo made Vini a beast. Maybe Ansu should consider lowering his wages to receive less pressure from the club.
NO Rashford!! He is a party boy! He will be a disruption to the team. Also, NO Leao!! He will also be a disruption to the team. He is a selfish player and has been underwhelming at AC. He is all flash and no substance!
I bet u not even watched a single seria A matches ,to say this ,if they have better strikers ,selfish leao should have 20 more assists this season only ,and u typed underwhelming at ac 😂😂😂then y a underwhelming player is signed and his contract is extended by the greatest defender in the history of football 😂😂then y they not wanted him to leave , typical barca fans mentality:blame a player without knowing anything,if he is not possible to sign barca 😂😂😂👍🙏
65mil is better then letting him leave for free but ultimately we all want him to stay Though if we can just keep him past this summer then you can get 80m for him or more and that is much much better
At first i was disappointed by it being low, but at the same time it's him and his agent protecting themselves in case things go bad at Barcelona. So i can't hate i respect it
What about the other report I saw that says its actually $300M not 65-70M? This is one of those times I hope the latest report is right and this one is wrong.
I believe that maybe after he seen how the fans reacted after the red card against PSG he’s felt different about staying long term. I feel as if before then he played with just as much as intensity as Raphina does now.
It's been rumoured that Saudis are offering a £50M-a-year salary deal to Lewandowski next season and he's considering to accept it.. The board should sell him for not less than £100M becuz the Saudis are a sūcker for players from Europe's big clubs.. They'll pay for any player like that
Marcus Rashford for such cut prices of 3m seems a fair deal. As for Araujo he is looking more of out despite staying. His confidence is being hit since the game in Paris, I see a change man till now never seem the same again.
i was thinking extra deeply let me say that we should find *ansufati* in the middle after-all which is if we like it or not loan him out again and make him slowly come back like this [if he can which is unknown now] do not forget which he is also concerned with it's that ansu is the number ten and if he is sold now he will never get that number back like never again and indeed he is the number ten. now i see ansufati can expect princetreatment meaning getting gametime more if he goes to random AZ Alkmaar (even Rangers) or to my actual picks such as ParisFC… otherwise choose from Ajax or Porto or Sevilla? …on loan he goes
I agree with you 100%. I have been saying that for years. There should never be any English players having any interest in Barcelona because they'll never live up to the expectations of Gary Lineker, the last English player to play for Barcelona. Barcelona should have no legitimate reason whatsoever to pursue any English player let alone Marcus Rashford the lazy bum. Marcus Rashford it's too lazy to track back to help on defense and he's too lazy to press properly. It also doesn't help that he can't hit the damn Target nor does it help that he is massively overpaid over at Manchester United. So what if Barcelona are pissed that Atlético Madrid have midfielder Connor Gallagher and so what if Barcelona are pissed at Réal Madrid have attacking midfielder Jude Bellingham, that doesn't mean that Barcelona should have an English player as well. For all I care, Marcus Rashford could go play for Spurs and learn how to dive from Richarlison.
Rashford on loan for 3 mil with no need to sacrifice players sounds more tempting I wouldn't be as against it if it did happen but at the same time I look at Ansu who gets no minutes and to me they're quite similar players... Inside forwards/inverted wingers who have some pace and can make some direct runs in behind the defense with a decent finish, and maybe on occasion can get past 1 player using their pace or a little bit of flair (Like a feint or a step over nothing too flashy), not really the best passer and they aren't the hardest worker on the pitch (They don't really press or counter press well and they don't help the defense). If Ansu doesn't get minutes I don't really see Rashford getting too much either so I think it'd still be a waste of wages.
Araujo’s market value is €55M, so €65 would be a decent amount. It was a good move for Barca to give him a proper chance to win his place back, and to prove that he is still a quality CB. It also allows the club to amortize his cost.
For 3 million I would take Rashford for the rest of the season in a heartbeat. He could really help fill the LW role so as not to completely wear out Raphinha. And I could see him contributing in some big games
I hope the club didn't give Araújo the same release clause they gave Dembele 50/50 or something like that where the club gets 32.5 million for Araújo, that's a huge disappointment
It's sad to see Araujo not wanting to be at Barca. He's on the way to become one of the worlds best defenders. I want players who want to stay at Barca, like Pedri and Gavi, who doesnt even consider other clubs as options.
If some club bid on Araujo's 65m release clause this summer, who would be your ideal replacement for Araujo? Me, I would go for Dean Huijsen. Huijsen would be the perfect partner for Cubarsi imo, because both of them are young, both of them are Spanish, both of them are doing really well atm. They could form a partnership in the Spanish national team and in the club as well.
Any player that plays at RB right now for us will suffer, Lamine is not helping Kounde enough and sometimes it's difficult for Casado to cover all the time. Lamine has to defend a little bit more and intelligently so.
This Araujo situation is just really disappointing. Yes the PSG mistake was bad but i didn't think that criticism and actual competition for a starting place would make him want to leave.
I don't really hope he leaves but we still have couple of center backs and Mikal Faye has a buy back clause, too. You never know. Rashford, it that's the case do it but only if the coach knows he will fit in.
I've never seen a player leaving us and not regret it later, so as sad as it is, if Araujo wants to leave we should just let him go and wish him all the best..
If Marcus can promise to play as a team player , reduce the wages, I think flick can definitely unlock his full potential and Marcus also has good pace. So it might help us more
Barca and Juve fan here: it is good that Olmo will not play against Atalanta bc games against Atalanta always have the highest probability of getting injured in the entire freaking Serie A. As well - regarding Rashford - I’d rather get Dybala and Chiesa for those money - as well it depends what Flick can get out of Rashford
Can’t blame him for wanting low release. If he loses is spot in starting lineup when Martinez comes back from injury he’ll leave. And that would be a shame. He’s young and world class. He should be a starter IMO.
Jammie if we beat Atlanta we have 50 million Euros to cash in from this first round of the champions league. We need this money so we shouldn't just go in to play anyhow because we already qualify or too many rotations to cost us the match. We have to beat these guys
I really wish Iñigo did not get injured because now with all this renewal of Araujo and his heart is not really at the club I think most games his head won’t be in the game which may cost us games
I can’t imagine that Frenkie will displace Casado in the starting lineup, though a rotation is wise. Maybe it’s a chance to put him in the shop window.
Raphinha pau. Lamine Torre Pedri. Casado Balde. Cubarsi. Araujo. Fort Am starting fort cause lewy always ghost against low blocks and pau wants to prove himself And starting torre cause he has a good link up play than all available 10 for this squad we need the link up to break defenses gavi and fermin can’t combine well
@ valencia will play on one two passes and counter and am not i sure a midfield of pedri and frankie will stop that Casado is still good he’s just being off a little bit the minutes were getting too much
65 is good. Inwould like Ronald to stay, he is unique and brings qualities that we lack as a team (speed, strength, aggressiveness...) but he has glaring holes when he has the ball.
Basically it's his contingency if crap goes south and he wants to leave. That tells me he's not sold completely on staying or the sporting plan of flick.

If you were the Barca coach, Barca would be in 6th tier of Spanish football or worse
@@Utkarsh-w2d Why are we always looking for a LW? What shows this to Raphinha, our best player right now? You want to push him in the center, taking out his speed that is his main pros?
@@Utkarsh-w2d No worries, we can always agree to disagree, hard to argue a full point when you also trying not to write a bible about it.
@ Your opinion is well received but at least have an argument and not just an opinion.
PEACE OUT!
Bad mentally
3m for Rushford i will take him. Yes he is not playing good recently, but i still like his movements and positions. And i believe Flick can make him a good player again
olmo was a disaster waiting to happen, with his injury record. I am not sure why the player recruiters get paid.
Give Olmo time
Barcelona board should not worry about Olmo because we all know that he is an injury pro, still they slashed 60m on him. Well done Lapota
I mean 65 is decent not the bs 30 or 50 juve sent
The Olmo’s signing makes no sense at all on a financial, fitness, and impact level!
Remember, when we signed him, we had several options in that number 10 role: Fermin, Torre, Gavi and Raphinha. That transfer fee could have been used or reserved for a LW.
What are the sources that says araujo’s release clause is 65million? Other reports say it is close to 300million
Jamie, please stop echoing the narratives of the Madrid based media, who try to have the fans turn on players like a araujo and dejong.
We trust you, and we count on you to not simply echo on baseless reports. It was olmo first, then araujo leaving…
That’s what I just read
Bro fabrizio posted it on instagram so it’s real
Thank God its 300 mil!! It makes way more sense than him extending to 2031 with a 65 mil release clause.
I wanna ask all of the culers out there who still simp for Dejong, what is your rationale?
Last week I watched the match with Bayern Munich again ( yes, that one). DeJongs performance was woeful. And it hasn't improved.
He also said that Messi was staying
The realistic release clause was genuinely needed.
Update on our stadium
Calm down people it’s 300m not 65m euros, just saw an update online.
Sure?
Yes same here
Link?
Guys I think TH-cam doesn’t allow me to post it but just google search Araujo release clause 300m
@ Just google it dude not so hard in this decade
honestly, if we can get Tah in the summer, then Araujo can go. If u don't want to be at this great club, then go dembele situation all over again, smh
At least he renewed
@jagiun dembele did, too, only to leave in the summer
A report actually came out stating 65mil not actually the release clause but rather 300mil
That release clause is definitely a slap to our faces 😢wdym any club that really wants him can get him now😅 ARAUJO needs a better agent
leaving for free would’ve been a slap to our face. 65 million is a decent fee
They should come and take him. At this point I will only cry over Inigo and Cubarsi not Araujo. Because was a disaster against Benfica which we haven't seen from Inigo and Cubarsi since this season
really ??? 😂😂@@williamcastro649
Inigo is 33 or so.... Why should he be worried? 😂 😂 😂
This Guy
Weak mentality! Not a top defender
Top CB aren't so easily to find!!
Seems y'all think tah is all that top defender, wait till he shocks you
thanks for the videos jamie!
Gavi shouldn’t start
Torre should start
Though that release clause is 65 millon but there are many occasions where clubs dont pay the release clause they want to bid more than the release clause in order to maintain better ffp
Barcas biggest mystery is always injuries
This is why I love Laporta not letting Barcelona be in a rush to take lower fee for him in transfer just cus his contract is getting off, with this barca has Strong stand on either 65 or he's not leaving 😂
We should still prioritize the atalanta game because if we stay in second place in the UCL table we will avoid liverpool until the final. The seeding does matter, finishing 2nd isn't the same as 8th.
65m, to any big clubs interested, it's a very fair price, especially how the market stands out these days.
Barca fans and that's all they know football 😂
I bet u not even watched a single seria A matches ,to say this ,if they have better strikers ,selfish leao should have 20 more assists this season only ,and u typed underwhelming at ac 😂😂😂then y a underwhelming player is signed and his contract is extended by the greatest defender in the history of football 😂😂then y they not wanted him to leave , typical barca fans mentality:blame a player without knowing anything,if he is not possible to sign barca 😂😂😂👍🙏
Rashford doesn't look like our kind of player....
Leao and the word selfish doesn't mixes
@@danchiziofficial2159 he never watch his play bro ,he is not even watch barca matches, just a scoreboard merchant
65mil is weak compared to his quality. This is disappointing especially given he’s our captain
65mil is better then letting him leave for free but ultimately we all want him to stay
Though if we can just keep him past this summer then you can get 80m for him or more and that is much much better
They'll pay for any player like that
Yeah he will next season for sure
Ain’t no way lewa is gonna agree to that. As much as I want that to happen though…
How old are you 10 nobody will buy a 37 year old player
Lewa should be sold next year but he doesn’t wanna go to saudi
some other outlets reported the release clause at $300 mil.
Marcus Rashford for such cut prices of 3m seems a fair deal. As for Araujo he is looking more of out despite staying. His confidence is being hit since the game in Paris, I see a change man till now never seem the same again.
i was thinking extra deeply
let me say that we should find *ansufati* in the middle after-all which is if we like it or not
loan him out again and make him slowly come back like this [if he can which is unknown now]
do not forget which he is also concerned with it's that ansu is the number ten and if he is sold now he will never get that number back like never again and indeed he is the number ten. now i see
ansufati can expect princetreatment meaning getting gametime more if he goes to random AZ Alkmaar (even Rangers) or to my actual picks such as ParisFC… otherwise choose from Ajax or Porto or Sevilla? …on loan he goes
English players do not fit in the Barcelona style of play, I don't understand why Barca is buying the idea of rashford
Bro we don't want any non committed players.
If Ansu doesn't get minutes I don't really see Rashford getting too much either so I think it'd still be a waste of wages.
i am glad he signed a new contract in la liga we have been suffering we need to pick up points
I don't think we will see Christensen play tomorrow. Maybe vs Atalanta, but I think his return will be next weekend vs Alaves.
Araujo’s market value is €55M, so €65 would be a decent amount. It was a good move for Barca to give him a proper chance to win his place back, and to prove that he is still a quality CB. It also allows the club to amortize his cost.
ASSSS ALWAAAAYSSS GREAT VIDEO !
I am in attendance for tomorrow’s match which is my first Barca match😍Really Excited for tomorrow 😍Visca Barca
❤
For 3 million I would take Rashford for the rest of the season in a heartbeat. He could really help fill the LW role so as not to completely wear out Raphinha. And I could see him contributing in some big games
Ronald Araujo release clause is a big seems 😢
Let’s just make sure there’s no PRIVATE RELEASE CLAUSE this time eh?
I hope the club didn't give Araújo the same release clause they gave Dembele 50/50 or something like that where the club gets 32.5 million for Araújo, that's a huge disappointment
The release clause is genius. We may get some good money on that release clause. He may have Barca on his heart after all.
He sees how well cubarsi and inigo have been playing together and cannot be sure that he will start for us. I don’t like it but I understand it
If Barca didn’t release this information.. name the reliable source of this information, what news outlet reported the release clause
As club and fans, we must maintain that Johan Cruyff energy. If Araujo doesn’t want to stay, show him the gate!!! This is BARCA!!!
I don't really hope he leaves but we still have couple of center backs and Mikal Faye has a buy back clause, too. You never know. Rashford, it that's the case do it but only if the coach knows he will fit in.
danm.... it feels like we just got our locker room straightened out now were bringing in Rashford? Im not convinced AT ALL.
4 days to prepare, and facing an opponent battling relegation. I hope "lack of focus" won't be an excuse for not winning 3 points from today's game.
Lamine
Torre
Pedri. Casado
Balde. Cubarsi. Araujo. Fort
Am starting fort cause lewy always ghost against low blocks and pau wants to prove himself
And starting torre cause he has a good link up play than all available 10 for this squad we need the link up to break defenses gavi and fermin can’t combine well
Casado 😂 this guy already shown us all his potentials, and last few games his shortcomings are showing as well. He can start on the bench
@ valencia will play on one two passes and counter and am not i sure a midfield of pedri and frankie will stop that
Casado is still good he’s just being off a little bit the minutes were getting too much
Dembele's agent never got anything off Dembele's transfer.
Barca fans are still delusional.
It's as clear as day that he's leaving. Unless ofc something drastically changes.
65 is good. Inwould like Ronald to stay, he is unique and brings qualities that we lack as a team (speed, strength, aggressiveness...) but he has glaring holes when he has the ball.
WE DO NOT NEED RASHFORD HE IS NOT A CONSISTENT GOAL SCORER AT MAN UNITED HE WILL NOT BE CONSISTENT AT BARCA !!!
They must win this game. If we go behind 10 points By February, its closed for us. I've seen way too many LaLiga campaigns to know how it mostly ends.
We couldn't spend 9 million to keep Messi in 2020. Why on earth would we spend 3-9 million on Rashford???
Basically it's his contingency if crap goes south and he wants to leave. That tells me he's not sold completely on staying or the sporting plan of flick.
65 million is not bad if he plays poorly and wants out. If he’s on bad form and is injury prone, I don’t think a club wants to pay 80 for araujo
We bought him for 5m so 65m is a decent fee but if a player doesn't want to stay here long term, sell him and strip him of the captain armband.

Nobody is talking about Rashford, that means we are on the same page. We don't want to see him in the club
We really shouldn't have spent 60 million on Olmo knowing his injury history. I just hope he can stay fit for the latter stages of the champions league
We shouldn't be trending Frankie the young at all .... And Marcus rashford shouldn't even be a discussion for joining Barcelona
