Amen it's very true there's sumting happens inside me whenever we hear hillsongs praize an worship am not sure about others
So, I'm Phil, and I'm addicted to Opiods. I have M.E/CFS and Fibromyalgia, along with C-PTSD, from pretty awful domestic violence and abuse. I found by taking extra pain meds, Fentanyl Patches, Oramorph, and Codeine, along with Amitriptyline and Mitazipine, I can numb both the physical and the mental pain. And up until last December, there was the frequent alcohol binge. There's also some thoughts about not wanting to be here, but I have to be careful with my wording, for obvious reasons. I literally live only for my cats, who are on my medical notes as my safeguards. TH-cam played this song a few days ago, I'd heard an older version before, but this time the tears were flowing, and I was a surprised by that, how deeply moved I felt. It's gone 3am here in the UK, and I'm struggling. I really know I need this. There's really no-one I can be truly honest with about how I feel. I feel under attack at so many levels, and my spirit is almost broken. I truly need Jesus right now more than at any other time in my life. 🙏
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, His mercy and Grace is always enough . Just call upon Him and He will save you and protect you. May His blood cleanse you from all pain and unrighteousness and may He cover you with His wings all the time and never let you go. We love you and Jesus loves you more❤️✝️🙏

My live was full of Sins, but Jesus not only accepted me, he also did send me streams of love i barely could handle and it did set me free to really try to be a better person. I've LOVED Hillsong since "Shout to the Lord", and have continued to be a lover of their music & ministry through all the ups & downs the church has gone through (let's try to remember that churches are full of imperfect, fallible, yet saved-by-grace human beings just like the rest of the world!). I truly love all of their music, but sometimes the classics hit me SO hard! Maybe it's because they take me back to my pre and early teen years when I felt unstoppable in my faith and that together, my youth group and I were lead the entire teenage population of our city to Jesus! Lol! Anyway, "Eagle's Wings" is one of those songs that takes me back to those times and they're such sweet, naive memories!
