What I love about these... does the story hold up? Is it a good story presented in a new way? Yes. The stories hold up. That's the magic of Star Trek, especially the original. What's done here is so much fun. I could rewatch entire seasons done like this. It's a pretty great idea and well executed.
Wow!!!! Thank you sooo much for the awesome comments!!! These are a lot of fun & have endless possibilities!!! I did "Mirror Mirror" & "Amok Time" will be released in a few weeks!! Thanks for the sub & stay tuned my friend!! 🙏🙏🤘🤘
- "GOOOOOORN!" :) - Watching this episode as a kid, I easily/willingly suspended my disbelief, and imagined the Gorn to be an actual alien creature (stilted movement and all), not a man in a costume. - Thx for allowing me to relive the fond memories
Smiling, smiling, smiling. Just stopped to take a break & this popped up! Perfect. I didn't know Mego made a Gorn, I expected Godzilla to be his stand-in. Another well done episode, great editing & special effects. So happy to have gotten to see it. Thank you.
I still trying to figure out how you are so accurate with your stone throwing…you even threw it using Kirk. That’s next level man! Lol great job! Very cool!
Another really great video! Your attention to detail, your scene choices, and the execution of the video in total is really wonderful to watch and appreciate. Thanks!
The gorn was known about before, maybe if you watched SNW you'd know it was explained that many don't live long enough to actually see a gorn in person. Kirk being shocked by its appearance still makes sense
@@wastedproductions45 Seems like New Voyages is retconning the Gorn into Trek history. Everything in Arena suggested an encounter with an previously unknown race.
@@brunozeigerts6379 I don't consider anything as canonical starting with the 2009 movie. This little video is far more Star Trek than anything coming out on Paramount +.

Great writing. The Kirk, McCoy and Spock dynamic was superb, and gave depth. Aside from the stories and geberal optimism, that may be classic Trek's legacy. The people who made classic Trek put their heart into it.
My favorite episode as a kid. The Gorn's screen entrance broke me up. I did a send-up of Star Trek with the Gorn on my podcast. Mike the Mime the Podcast Episode 202, wherever you get your podcasts...
I remember this episode, when I was a kid that lizard man would scare the s..t out of me but I couldn't stop watching, I watched in Spanish then when I moved to the mainland in English! Star Trek - Viaje a las Estrellas.
It's my favorite Star Trek episode. Hey, that's Alan from the planet of the apes as the Metron. A nice edit of straight to the fight scenes. Scene for scene was incredible. I wish I had my figures from my childhood. I had 3 captain Kirk's. One of them had a broken leg. My grandfather put a screw in between, and I kinda made him like a bionic man but one leg only, hahaha.
Lmao!!! I was waiting until somebody said something.. LoL. I couldn't find anything that looked halfway right, so it's actually a drywall anchor. Thanks for the comment!! 👍👍😆
@@g.i.joethelostchronicles6807 Can't wait to watch! Mego action figures and ST were my childhood loves, (still are! 😄) so these are so great. Thank you for sharing your talents!
And for anyone who hasn't seen it, there's a you- tube video with William Shatner & the Gorn recreating their fight now. They're watching TV together & it involves pillows. But it's a great re-creation & funny to watch. Sorry I can specify the actual channel id.
Good work, good presentation. I wish you could do a Mego version of Marvel's Fantastic Four, because MEGO had figures of the FF. In fact, Mego was the very first company to make figurines of the FF. Any possibility of a presentation? 🙏

I've tried " Comic Strip It " and made some funny little memes for a friend, like the Foto Novels of thev1970's ( Still shots of the TV episode with dialogue bubbles, like a fancy comic book ) ....... It is not!!! I would love to have one of those. Its actually the packaging of the Mego Star Trek Mirror Mirror set. It was the only thing I had... LoL! It is a Mego Captain's chair
