Mapping cardinalities are shown in only binary relationships and not in ternary relationships. Because for mapping binary relationships into relational tables have 3 rules but mapping ternary relationship into relational table only have 1 rule.
In 3rd qn, shouldn't team_played be a unary relationship? Because a team plays only with another team, right? If done so, we could remove Opponent attribute from MATCH entity and add Opponent_score as another attribute in team_played relationship.
Look for this solution in 4th question. In 3rd question er diagram is made for your favorite sports team only so oppenent score and own score should be maintained.
