Toronto definitely has the best Polish and Italian sausage street vendors as someone who was born and raised in Chicago, immigrated to Canada, lived in Toronto for 10 years and currently living in NYC for the last 20 years. No contest, Toronto hot dogs and sausages are the best.
26:57 RJ, you can grow apples in the Philippines. I am doing exactly just that. The apples from the supermarket are viable. You just need to stratify them first. Place them in slightly damp tissue paper or coco peat, place them inside a clear plastic container and store them in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator (not the freezer!) for two to three months (or until they start growing roots). Then transfer the seedlings to planting medium. Then transplant on actual ground once they grow large enough to withstand our torrential rains. I have two apple trees right now that are about 6ft tall after a year or so, and more that are still growing. You just need to prune them correctly too as they grow. I think someone else in Davao also has apples grown the same way. And more in colder areas like Baguio I think. Apples don't grow true to seed, so their fruits might be small and stunted. Crab apples really. And they need another tree of another variety to pollinate them. Don't overwater them, and give them access to full sun, or at least, the morning sun. I think they're a great project to grow because there really is no danger of them being invasive. Given that their seeds require months of cold before they can even sprout. But once they sprout, they can survive quite nicely in the Philippines.

This was such an awesome vlog!! I love taking a look around Toronto! I have to say that Toronto is really beautiful! I’ve been there a couple of times but, I didn’t have the luxury of seeing it through your eyes, Mikey. Hearing you talk about your hometown, I got a little nostalgic for my hometown (although you could put the entire population of my hometown in a few cars of that train, LOL). Maria’s family looked to be so welcoming and loving to you and your family. All of that was so very interesting to see. OK, I am a dyed-in-the-wool NYC Hot Dog fan. I’ve had dogs from several places and, now it seems I’m going to have to find my way to Toronto to try one of these Hot Dogs… they looked SO freaking good!! I’m surely going to have to give that a try (although, I’m not sure if the hot dog was just a condiment on yours, you put so much stuff on it, LOL)! I only prefer Mustard on my hot dog, Ketchup (in my addled brain) is for Hamburgers… I blame my upbringing, LOL. Seeing ya’ll FaceTime the fur babies was so cute! And, seeing Pinoy all set in his travel pack just made me smile so huge! I’m pretty sure ya’ll are heading to Niagara Falls (that seems a requisite place to visit on a trip like this). I have to say, I smiled when RJ commented how much he liked the wallpaper in Maria’s parents' home. RJ is definitely an old soul… ‘ya know, those teacups they had are really intriguing, I love the more vintage, delicate tea cups. OK… Thanks again for an awesome vlog! I love that ya’ll are having such a great time! Be safe and, I’ll see ya’ll next time!
Love this vlog, your mom and dad looks happy and contented of what you and your brother have achieved! Apo na lang Ang kulang, the fur babies are so cute and a little confused! Enjoy your vacation guys keep safe always!
Thank you Mickey for taking us to your neck of the woods . Beautiful city !❤ Never been in Canada , living here in FL . Regards to RJ, Edmar and Nikka and family!
Catching up on my comments lol - Toronto is so pretty - even at this time of the year (haha I live in the lower 48 but similar climate to there) - Maria's family seems super amazing - what a great addition to yours!
Hello Mikey and RJ, I'm glad to see that Edmark & Nica visited your family and enjoying the places in Toronto.you have a good memories at the family/home of Maria, what a great bonding with them.I know that your going to visit is the Niagara falls.RJ is happy in every plants and weeds that he saw that he could use for his table scaping.Enjoy and be safe 🙏🌷🌻❤️
You make such good videos!! Ive never seen Toronto. Their transit system is way less crowded than Vancouver and the lower mainland. I hope we can get some ideas from Toronto. The food !!! Amazing !!! I want to eat everything. The Filipino, The Jamaican, the Hot Dogs and the amazing Kazakhstan !!! I want it all. Wonderful Video ❤❤
Love your mom's cooking skills! Did she ever thought about having her own cooking show or maybe her own restaurant? ❤ Hope you and RJ will visit Vancouver next time as well 🍁
I haven’t been to downtown Toronto! Thanks for taking us around! I just realized Josh and Maria are look a like. They have similarity in their facial features.
i have apple plant in my yard heat and rain it is okay but the hard part of planting apple in ph. is when seeds start sprouting and daycare stage like you need to care like a baby because some caterpillars, rats, birds, ants, might eat.. this is base in my experience growing apple.. now my apple 3ft long
I love it that you guys took public transit and explored the place like normal people. Not like some celebrities that have private cars and even drivers driving them around. So down to earth. 😊❤
Thank you Mikey for touring us around and for showing us all those delicious and yummy foodies. Your Mom's homecook dishes really looks great and yummy too ❤ Enjoy and have a great time! Cant wait to see your next video😊
Really miss Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, my last visit was before Covid.. There's an urgent need to go back after watching your episodes of visiting families and friends, Mikey! 😍😍
I haven’t tasted Toronto hotdogs yet. Iceland hotdogs are the best that I had. I believe it’s a combination of lamb and beef. Memorable Iceland hotdog experience and you don’t need all those toppings to enjoy it. 🤤😋
Hello Mikey, I am glad you brought and toured Nica and Edmark to Canada. ❤ please add Calgary and the rest of Alberta. Banff will be beautiful at this time of year. 😊 😊😊
Hi Mikey and everyone in the video. It’s really a full entertainment experience and so much great informations you always share. And it’s a full length video with different topics, not unlike other vlogger with boring and just extending the length. Keep enjoying your tour and stay safe and healthy. Watching from Jacksonville Florida USA 🇵🇭🇺🇸
Mike, go back to downtown cuz there’s more places to explore there. Walk underground, along the Path, the councourse from Eaton Centre all the way to Scotia Bank arena. Montreal and Toronto are the only places in the world that have an underground pedestrian walkway.
You seem so near yet so far! I am here in Brampton and from Pinas. Hope to cross path with you in the future. You've been a source of good vibes and inspiration to me. And now my wife is hooked too.
Filipino feast, yum! We were there in Toronto last week. Nag-Jollibee kami coz there's none here in Montréal. Sprinkles of snow already when I woke up this morning, winter is coming...soon!
Well hope Nica and Edmark enjoyed Toronto but if he thinks he needs 4 layers now tell him to wait till January when he’ll need the long underwear’s 😂 so enjoy the rest of ur trip guys 🇨🇦
Just FYI, importation of living plants, nursery stocks such as vegetative parts used for asexual propagation, fruits, vegetables and seeds is prohibited without proper plant quarantine clearance and import permits. This is a safety measure to prevent the entry of foreign insect species and pathogens which may be present in said items. If you really need to bring the seeds to the Philippines, you need to apply for a Plant Quarantine Clearance (PQC) (personal purposes) Sanitary and Phytosanitary Import Clearance (SPSIC) (commercial purposes) with the National Plant Quarantine Services Division of the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) prior to importation.
I went to Toronto in 2002 for World Youth Day and I loved navigating the city especially on the TTC. And I loved the hot dogs but I remember the relish being super green, like nuclear green. Cheers to Toronto and the Great White North!
I’ve had really good curry wurst and bratwurst in Berlin. But I’m sure Toronto has good hot dogs too. Sadly only had a lay over at Pearson International and have yet to really visit Toronto 😢.
I agree, Toronto is also has a diverse culinary. Just in food court, you have Jimmy the Greek, Paramount Lebanese food, sushi, Korean, Chinese, Indian, Chic fil A, Pi co pizza, New York fries etc
Mikey, you did not notice the elevator in Wilson Station? There is now an elevator from the bus stops to the subway. There is now accessibility for wheelchairs.
Aww so great to see you all enjoying downtown Toronto!! A lot had changed .. yas!!! U guys tried the iconic hotdogs vendor.. nothing beats it! Let me guess… next destination will be Niagara Falls?😅
Toronto for sure has awesome street meats and Carribean food 🤤🤤🤤 Moved to the maritimes last year and we miss all the good food in Toronto! Am the only one yelling « noooo city hall is THAT WAY!! » next time you go back downtown, you must hit up Distillery District, St Lawrence Market & Centre Island… just a few other spots that us locals miss but are awesome must sees if you’ve never been …my guess is NIAGARA???
you dont know what the seeds will grow into, because of this, apples shoots from known good trees are grafted onto rootstock of various vigorosness. you should import some young trees they usally start fruiting at about 3yrs. i have columnar ones, which take little space and dont produce fruit i cant use, unlike the plums
Beautiful Mikey, Toronto wow and it's good remembering all the places. Nice tasting different food yum 😋. Can't wait for the surprise area use are going too. Your dad cracks me up with his jokes for today 🤭. Thanks again, till next time take care 👍😊...
A reminder to people in the comments: Please feed seed to pigeons, not bread. It's not good for them and they only eat it because they're starving. :)
I'm glad to meet Maria's beautiful family and learned about Kazakhstan culture.
Thank you for featuring your Mom and Dad in your vlog Mikey, we kinda miss them already especially your mom's cooking 😊❤️👍

How fun you got to show your cousins your hometown. And I love how you got to spend time with Maria’s family, too. ❤ Family is everything.

Yeah, I had a feeling a license would be needed for such a thing to protect against invasives. Thank you for this info!
@@MikeyBustosVLOGS Happy to help. And those pumpkins are so cute, I would want to take them home too. 😁
Yep, i still call that building Skydome 😀

Mikey still has the OG green presto card! How cool! 🥳
You should’ve gone outside via The Bay. That’s the closest to the City Hall.
Those tea cups are so precious! Must be Maria’s Mom’s collection! So previous, you shouldn’t toast it coz it might break😳
Bollywood music at hotdog stand ❤
What a wonderful trip!
I don't know anything about apples but I don't think sweet apples can be frozen from seed...they need to be grafted?
That was last Friday because Monday is 3°C. That Wilson station across is Jollibee.
Love your dads joke of the day!
enjoy love you both
Amazing family time
So nice 🍁🇨🇦
The roadside tree you were admiring is the staghorn sumach
