Hi Jake Nice one dude that's the enjoyable part of building Tamiya rc car kits. Tamiya rc cars are great having built many in the past it was your self that made me pull the trigger on a slash 4x4 ultimate watching your slash bash sessions. Now your building classic Tamiya rc kits. 🤘.
Nice build video. You showed almost everything so that's great. You didn't show building any of the turnbuckles. That's typically the most hated job of any kit build. A little chap stick on the threads helps the ends screw in easier, and remember that one side is reverse thread.
Nice, I do wonder however what the quality and durability of these kits are and what there intended use is? Light use / Shelf queen? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Always fancied having a go at building one.

I mean this with all due respect to Jake But I think he treats this more as just a business and has fun riding them but isn't big with the community and watching others rc videos. Kinda like Kev too. And I'm not knocking them for it either.
Hi Frank, the onboard audio system was installed separately - it isn't included in the kit. Haha you're right there my friend it does sound awesome! The audio system is from Team Associated, it's called ess-one+ engine sound system.
Why unfortunately? You don't like it? I just finished my IT school and got my degree, but can't really decide what to do now. I don't really want a 9 to 5 office job.

Great video only thing i'll modify is using magnets instead of columns for installing the body.

Good to see he got or bought the Tamiya tools. Those Phillip heads are Japan size so regular screwdrivers don't fit right.

Does this kit come with the sound system? or you have to purchase it yourself. quite impressed by the sound system. possibly for my next build.

The same kit with a Pajero body took me a little bit under 3 (with plasti dipping the hard shell)
