Dyna-gro Bloom 3-12-6 but only because I have half a bottle leftover from a "different" type of plant 🤐, since it's a quick release liquid (and made for heavy feeders) I will likely give them one single full strength application in a few days. Otherwise we have a general tomato/garden vegetable slow release Expert Gardeners 12-10-5 already incorporated though likely mostly depleted, will top/side dress after the liquid fert.
As to the why, Dyna-gro is a great fert and has never let me down. And... I've been too lazy to keep up with making compost, compost tea or starting a worm bin. Of course, also too lazy to blend my own ferts.
@@Mike_H76 awesome! thanks for the tips. We will have to see what we can find for organic fertilizer. That will be the next video🙌 I definitely want to go with a quick release. Squash are looking great after trellising
@@Mike_H76 That good to hear. Will have to see if the local stores carry it. I want to do a quick worm casting extract too soon to boost with some microbes
Subbed for the journey. But just to spare whatever masculinity I've managed to salvage these days, that is NOT a hair TIE... I use hair ties, no butterfly clips... that's girlie (my lady uses those)!
@@Mike_H76 thank you for subscribing! pumped that you are here for the journey. You should check out foraging videos too. Im trying to edit them fast enough so that they are semi going with the seasons
@@yearofplentyvideo I'll check some out, though it's not really my thing. My lady stopped hunting blueberries and wine berries for jam due to so MANY ticks! We're moving very soon to VA and will have a full acre to grow all the berries, grapes and asparagus we want... really, my mind is on considering a catchment pond stocked with fish to water and nourish row veggies... and potentially a root cellar (money would help!).
Would love to hear what other people are using for fertilizer once the plants start to fruit and why they are using it!
@@lindeycreations yes great point! that is the next step in this year’s garden journey for us and would be great to hear what others say.

Your garden looks great! Is there a reason you can’t put the trellis up when you first plant?
@@jerylschneider412 no we could! next time we will forsure. that way we can train the plants from the beginning. Thanks for watching🫶
