One reason to NOT use super glue on the area of the engine mount is super glue is very susceptible to heat damage. Learned this working with dethermalizer fuses building freeflight model airplanes where the aluminum fuse holders would occasionally simply fall off if adhered with super glue (CYA). For fuse holders I favored Cellulosic model cement like Testors cement for wood models.
This kit would be a good candidate for the quick change engine mount system.....just cut the tabs off the fins and surface mount them and install the quick change engine mount.
Certainly a step up from the older version I flew years ago. It was a heavy rocket back then. If buying, I would probably use a c5 in a small school yard I fly in. Have to keep my rockets lower.
I ordered this and it was at my front door in 2 days thanks for the videos and the great customer service.
I built my own just two BT80 tubes and a little longer than this one ,awesome rocket.

See our website for a list of motors. It will give you altitudes, so you can get an idea of if it will work for you.
Have you ever thought of selling the mercury Redstone?
We are thinking of it.
@@apogeerockets I recently got it and it’s quite a good rocket, would definitely recommend
Could this be modified to fly off of 2 motors? C,D&E motors.
Yes. That can happen.
I like epoxy on the fins but laminate 1 side and cover with gallon ziploc bag and place a book ontop
