I always wear my natural hair because I discovered that wigs really raise my body temperature. Passing out while looking cute is definitely not on my agenda🤣🤣🤣. As always your energy is wonderful. Thank you for sharing!!!
I was so into the gothic loli magazines back when they were new and all I could read from them were how quality scans on crafting message boards and it's so exciting to see them be unboxed and admired like twenty years later.
and as for wearing clip on earrings when your ears are pierced, if you're willing to alter them you can usually open a jump ring and take them off the clip on attachment and slip them onto a pair of sleeper earrings. you can make all sorts of cute earrings this way with any charms. to change them out you can just open the sleepers up and switch them without actually taking them all the way off. I actually had phone charms dangling from my ears for years.
Your natural hair looks super cute. And i am so excited for all the magazines! Please make videos of you sewing all those wonderful patterns! They are to die for!
Thank you so much!! I really need to start wearing my hair out more since that was one of my lolita fashion goals for the year 😅 But yes, I will definitely be posting anything I end up making from them! I already have one that I will for sure be posting in the near future ❤️
I love Lolita unboxings because it’s always like “yes I definitely remember what I ordered, I think this was cute when I saw it” - as always you look great and I’m excited to see how you style these pieces!
I have never made bloomers so I am kind of itching too. But almost completely because I know it will be an easy project. I bet once I know how to do it I won't make them again unless I need something specific. And I see you have a video that I can watch to get started!
Thank you!! Lol And I'm also excited to see all of things I'll make in the future 😂 Honestly, I fell like my list of things I need to sew just keeps growing lol!
I hope you can make another video soon, I’m interested in following along. Also if you could do a QnA? I really Really need some advice as to what websites are reputable for buying Lolita! Hope to see you back again with a new vid soon sis
I really love a lot of the patterns in those old lolita sewing magazines, I just wish I knew how to sew well enough to justify buying myself a few of them.
I love your videos!! I've been eyeballing lolita for some time now and watching you unbox and sew lolita pieces really inspired me to wear it and put in the research to buy it, thank you !!
Hi !! i discovered your channel recently i just LOVE your channel and your vibe 💕🎀 im quite young and interested in lolita fashion but i don’t know where to buy dress and stuff 😢 plus i live in France and those types of fashion are very rare i love sewing and i’m a beginner but your videos are perfect for learning ! thank you so much (omg this message is so long) big hugs from France 💕
I am always impressed with your style. Lolita looks incredibly good on you. 💝 Even if I can not sew myself, I like to watch the videos, so I'm happy about every new project from you. From therefore awesome that you have new patterns. ❤❤ By the way I hate these ear clips. They always hurt my ears but I can hardly find the earring versions.
Ahh 🥰 Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! Also I know what you mean about the earrings, it's really difficult to come across just the regular piercing style of earrings nowadays.
Love your hair! I am so excited to see what you are going to make with those magazines. I not only have feet in the sizes you listed but they are also wide feet, so I am not sure what lolita shoes, if any, will fit me and I am afraid of paying over a hundred dollars on a pair of shoes that in the end will not fit. I would love it if they had a print out that you can print, then put your foot down on top, trace and compare, and see if they would fit before you order. When I try to look up the sizing listed for lolita shoes I get really lost, especially when I do not know how to factor in my wide feet. I have been told to get a size up, but from experience that can be very painful, and if I understand what you just said it will be hard to find shoes in a size larger than a size 9... I am actually getting to the point that I am researching how to make them for myself.
Thank you! I really want to try wearing my hair out more with lolita! Yes, it's really difficult! Especially if you're buying brand name shoes, they often don't make shoes larger than a size 8 1/2 which is why I try to jump on any listing I see for size LL shoes because they don't come up often. There are some off-brand and indie brands that make larger sizes beyond an 8 1/2 so you're not at a total loss if you're looking for cute lolita shoes. Taobao also has carries a wider range of shoes too if you want to look on there! But admittedly there really is not consistency among sizing, so even if you're one size with one brand, for another you could need to size up or down several sizes in order to get a good fit 😕 They could really do a better job at sizing across the board.
@@SewBlack I hope you do wear your natural hair more, it is gorgeous. I will keep an eye out. There was one brand that had some shoes that looked like it may fit and were very cute, but they are a brand that is known for bad business practices so I decided not to buy from them. I really feel bad for those who have even bigger feet than ours.
Lol Yes they fit and I love them!! And if you're the same size as me than you can also buy shoes in these sizes too and have super cute shoes that fit too! 😊
Hi, I just came across your channel and as a fan of pastel colors paired with an interesting in lolita fashion, I'm really loving it! I'm new to the whole the sewing world and I've recently been wanting to really give it a shot! Does anyone have any good recommendations for sewing machines? 🤔
Hi! This is definitely on my list of things to film in the future as I’ve had several others ask me the same thing, so to answer your question yes there will be a video for this eventually!

Lol Oh I felt that 😂 Especially as we’re going through a heat wave were I live currently, natural hair has been my go to hairstyle!

What a great box of goodies, but that lace trimmed blouse is the best. A wonderful find! ❤
