As Far as I'm concerned, the NFL Retired 25 Years Ago on this Day, May 2nd, 1999. JOHN ELWAY IS FLAT OUT THE BEST NFL PLAYER EVER! STRONGEST ARM and Largest Heart. #7 is Unconparable and Irreplaceable. He only came to Earth 🌎 1 time. There Will NEVER BE ANOTHER JOHN ELWAY
Although I was a Broncos fan growing up, I watch Curt Warner, and think man, if he hadn't blown out his knee in 84', they might've made a SB in 84 or 85, and he'd be in the HOF.
He still had a good career! But yeah, you can only wonder what could have been if he had not got injured. And the 84 Seahawks season is probably one of their best ever, with a 12-4 record only surpassed in 2005 and 2013. Too bad Larent never got to play a Super Bowl; he sure would have shined.
46:33 Elway makes a great tackle after a fumble return. Even after the Broncos turned over the ball, the fans roar when Elway makes the tackle. I think that shows how much the fans of Denver loved Elway.
They actually had tens of thousands of T-shirts that read, "No Bozo's" with a pic of a clown, and Denver fans bought em all out the day of the game. After it was over, they broke the story on the news in, Denver, and showed the tag on the collar: 44 Blues Inc. Brians company, 😂!!! True Story GO HAWKS!!!
I remember that. Too bad he wasn't as good a linebacker as he was a promoter. I think he had some ability. The other frustrating one was Freddy Young, all the talent in the world but no consistency.

Yeah, he was never the same after the knee injury. What could have been! Elway, the pride of Port Angeles, WA, killed us over the years.
@@stuvo1977 Warner was close to his old self. He had a great few years

1:52:16 Denver should have used this flea flicker play in the Super Bowls.
Even Seahawks linebacker Bruce Scholtz was in admiration of that play. Look how he’s talking to Elway after that throw!
Do you have their 1987 Kingdome ESPN SNF rematch?
I'll look for it ;)
I will put it up when I can!
@@beaubbyvagnert7035 Thanks
1:20:55 THAT is what a posession receiver can do for you.
14:49 Boz puts a lick on Elway

Not a dumb guy, and a fun persona!

'Roids ruined Bosworth. He peaked at Oklahoma.
Haha that's awesome
I remember Brian mentioning that and he also said that Denver fans were oxygen deprived.
