Great collection, thank you for uploading! Lots of memories, bitter sweet.
Best comp of Christmas commercials ever, hands down
When Men were Men,Women were Women,Girls were Girls,Boys were Boys and When Commercials were Commercials, Man!!!!! forgot how many Christmas Specials we had on Television back in the 80s, also I remember the 70s and late 60s.Love the great Choreography American companies/businesses did to make Christmas Commercials.100 times more talented and enjoyable to watch than the movies Hollywood produces today.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Mopenstein.Watching Laverne and Shirleys Christmas special right now, Season 7 I think, """YE COME ALL YOU BUMS""" absolutely hilarious Squiggy playing an Elf instead of calling one of Santa Clause Reindeer Blitzen calls him """BLITZKREIG"""🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
All of the M&Ms commercials were so heartwarming. I love how several of them were interconnected and featured the same family.
Best Xmas comm comp ever, all the others aren’t this great, never delete, thanx!
@@linkdavid thanks. I've been collecting these for a long time
1:23:55-my favorite 80s Christmas commercial of all time. Thank you so much for including it in this compilation.
You're welcome. I've spent a few years collecting all these.
@ I just wanted to express my appreciation; I recently experienced a significant loss and my Christmas spirit is really lacking this year. This compilation is like balm for my spirit.
Absolutely Love these 🎄
Did anybody else try to call Santa after seeing the commercial??
Good afternoon from Boston
I'm going to go on a limb, if it's ok: I was born in Seattle in 1973. I REALLY wish I could find a Christmas jingle, that was used as background music for a Taco TIME commercial in late 1989 (NOT Taco Bell, Taco TIME). And, it was also used for an International Jewelers Christmas commercial at the end of 1998, and the commercial starts by saying, "Jingle Bell....Rock!" It starts with about 15 "plinks" possibly a high piano key. If anybody has any idea, please let me know!
@@UnappealingUndesirable I've watched thousands and thousands of 80s commercials and have never seen a "Taco Time" commercial. Only Del Taco and, of course, Taco Bell.
Was Taco Time local to Seattle only or did they franchise to other areas?
In my 80s Christmas commercials collection (and non-Christmas commercial collections) I tried to avoid local only commercials since I found it hard to relate to a local car dealership in Boise, Idaho (for example) but nearly the entire country had access to a Pizza Hut (or at least knew of them).
@@mopenstein Hi, Mopenstein! Thank you for the nice upload! Taco Time is indeed local to Seattle. I was really "fishing" and hoping that somebody also from Seattle, from that time era, might know. But, here's another lead: In late 1998, International Jewelers had a TV commercial for Christmas, that had the same jingle. They are now defunct, but you know what? I wonder now, if International Jewelers was a Seattle area business. I'll have to look it up. In any case, your upload took me back to some fun, care free, and innocent times in my life! Thanks!
Why weren’t There any 1980’s MTV, Nick at Nite and Nickelodeon Christmas Commercials?
@@nicksullivan4994 I didn't get cable until 1989 so those don't really interest me.
Lots of 900 numbers😅
666🤘
You should have shuffled these better. Like 15 isotoner glove commercials in a row? Grow up
@@ClownCar666 I've spent 10 years collecting these commercials and have sifted through thousands and thousands of commercials from the 1980s to capture and catalog all the Christmas commercials and after all that time and effort you tell me that I should've shuffled them better and that I should grow up? Not even a "thanks" first? Well..... you're right. I'll try to do better in the future.
@@mopensteindon’t mind that jerk, this is the best compilation of Christmas commercials I’ve ever seen and I’m someone who watches these commercial comps constantly
You are a rude person
