He's British & they have different words for somethings & different pronunciation for some words. We have A to Zee He says Zed which is the letter zee.
@@robing9364 sure but the character is not British. If we mispronounced a British character, they'd likely let us know, and considering that he does trivia, I think it's a safe bet that he'd want to know the correct pronunciation. 🙂
Many thanks for the quiz Dale. Was doing fine until the letter N, followed very quickly by Q R and T, so ended up with 22/26. As for the bonus question then the answer is 20, 16 possible moves for all the pawns and 4 possible moves for the two knights
15/26 Thanks,Dale. This is one of my favorite types of quizzes. Although I don't always do well. I'll take a guess on the bonus: 8 ? I only played a couple of times with my brother, who was trying to teach me years ago. Tysmfs.👍👍😁
On today's edition of my FAVORITE quiz, the A-Z General Knowledge & Trivia Quiz, I scored 25/26, missing Q (I knew the first, but couldn't remember the second word before time ran out...) I remembered the answer to G just before time ran out, and I knew Y before you posted the question, due to the thumbnail! For the bonus, I believe that there are 20 first moves possible in a game of chess. After that.... Thanks for all of your efforts, Dale. If we didn't enjoy these quizzes, you wouldn't have many views (and THAT would be a shame!). Until next quiz.....
I didn't get A B E and U 22/26 I was a bit worried at the start !! Question Q Christopher Reeve not Reid Bonus As an opening move Pawns can move one or two spaces fowards, and you have 8 of them, so that's 16 possible moves .. and then the Knight is the only piece that can move 'through' other pieces, and you have 2 of them, and as an opening move they could move two spaces fowards and then one to the left or right, so that's another 4 possible moves. Making a total of 20
16/26 this week and Team Harlow got a hammering phew. Worst score yet 😢. But that's quizzing. Thanks for the uploaDale 😮. As for the bonus we'll try 2.
20/26 & 4 moves, pawn up 1 space, pawn up 2 spaces, knight over the pawn to the left or knight over the pawn to the right. Knights are the only chess pieces that can jump pieces & move up & over in an L formation. Up 1 & over 2 to the left or right or up 2 & over 1 to the left or right.
Missed J, N and V. 20 possible moves - 8 pawns can move 1 or 2 spaces and the 2 knights can go either left or right. Thanks for my Wednseday second coffee break brain test.
On this a to z quiz I got 18 correct. I knew the ares question thanks to disney and Percy Jackson. And also the Thunder Dragon is what is depicted on the flag of Bhutan. As for the bonus the answer is 20 moves you can start a game of chess with.
23/26 - missed Q, R, and T. I'll try 12 for the bonus? Each pawn would make eight, then the two knights can jump over and turn either left or right so they have two possible moves each. Sticking point would be if I'm wrong and you can choose to move pawns either only one square or two, but I think pawns have to *always* move two squares first, there's no choice? [EDIT: Damn. I was wrong, it is optional to move them two.]
7/26. Im gutted i didn't get question R and question Y thou. I just couldn't think of them, even though they were on the tip of my tongue!! Bonus-4. Nic x
I got two right. Hard quiz
Great quiz. But it's "yo-sim-i-ty" Sam. 😁

@Linbur0065 He calls the letter z(zee) Zed which is an English or European thing & as I watch British Comedy & Dr. Who He speaks with a British accent
But He should know or find out the correct pronunciation of American characters I agree there.

19 for me this week Dale. Thanks.
I think there are 20 opening moves - 8 pawns can move one or two sapces and the two knights can come out either way.

F: It’s Frankenstein. Check your spelling of your questions before posting!
Oh here is a perfectionist, give him a break, you don't make mistakes? !!!!
The question was spelt perfectly though ;). It was the answer where two letters were transposed
