Of the ads in Robocop, I always remember the 2000 SUX commercial or the "I'd buy that for a dollar" commercial. I had forgotten about the electric chair car defense.
Another set of good ones!
The Sunblock 5000 ad in Robocop 2 was hilarious.
*6000 SUX and the I’d buy that for a dollar segment was part of a TV show not really an ad. Still appreciated though :)
I watched this just hopeing that they had that ad, I always wanted a car alarm system like that one
Saul's commercials are always the first to come to mind for me. I especially love the Mesa Verde add in season 5 of Better Call Saul lol.

I like bringing up the Mr plow jingle when the opportunity strikes.
I saw the Kitten Mittons episode for the first time this week and the way that cat was slipping and sliding on the table cracked me up🤣🤣🤣
Great list! But I have a special place in my heart for the midpoint "Coming Soon" trailers in Grindhouse. They're hilariously over the top, and even funnier now that a few (Machete, Hobo With A Shotgun) have actually been made into feature films.
"Spatula City" from UHF would've made it to honorable mentions.
At the very least. I was hoping it'd make the list.

Both “Ghostbusters” commercials always make me laugh as I love it when something is cheesy and cheap on purpose.😂😂😂

My first thought when clicking on this was the Swisher Sweets commercial.
Child's Play(1988) commercial for the Good Guys doll should have been on this list...how did WatchMojo forget it? Lol 😅 It also did it long before Toy Story and M3GAN....
The "Dunkacino" commercial in "Jack and Jill" was the best part about the entire film, since it was at least entertainingly awful, unlike the rest of the movie.

Al's Dr. Shoe ads in an episode of Married with children is a riot
Surprising that any fake commercials in UHF are not mentioned.
While I really do love the Tropic Thunder Trailers and I’d see them all, they also were a fun little jab at each Genre.
For Tugg Speedman and Scorcher VI: Global Meltdown it perfectly shows a an overblown action movie that did the same thing five times and only now they’re doing something new. It’s gonna be overhyped only for it to be bad, but people will still see it because it’s a blockbuster and it looks cool.
With Jeff Portnoy’s Fatties Fart: 2 it’s like a normal comedy sequel. With the amount of fart jokes and other things it’s that sequel we didn’t really want, but enough people saw the first one that it was green lot for an even grosser and lazier sequel. This time with more fart, fat, and toilet jokes.
And Kirk Lazurs in Satan’s Ally is like the normal thing with some actors. After they win an away they now are Staring in a periodic movie with a touchy subject at the time. And with well known actors.
The man who made a difference 5 times before is about to make a difference again, only this time it's different..... " Who left the fridge open?"

On the South Park side, I love Alabama Man and Cherokee Hair Tampons.
It's fun seeing the Saul Goodman add from Breaking Bad after watching Better Call Saul, he is much better at making videos in the prequel !
Alabama Man is one of the first ones I thought of when I saw this video, but Stop Touching Me Elmo was the best South Park one, for me anyway. " When you press Elmo's back, he puts his hand on your knee and says fun things : 'Have you ever been tickled on the inside'? 'Can I watch you go potty'? 'Do you want to kiss the guy who does Elmo's voice'?"
The there's Elmo's toothpaste dispenser...

I found a Buzz Lightyear for my (now-former) wife, who adored Toy Story, in a Toys 'R' Us I just happened to pass by on Christmas Eve. They'd only just then put out the toys that had been on layaway until that evening, and I scored the last Buzz Lightyear they had.

HOW could you possibly leave off Spatula City from UHF? “Spatula City, we sell spatulas… and that’s all!” “What better way to say ‘I love you’ than with a gift of a spatula?” It’s such an enduring commercial that I bought my husband a spatula. Because Weird Al is right - there’s no better way to say I love you!
They should have shown the Swisher Sweets or Arizona Ice Tea commercial from Atlanta. Those were some of the funniest bits ever.
"Just let you SoOoOoOouUul glo!" is probably the one fake commercial I'll remember long after my probably inevitable dementia, lol.
Before watching this video all I gotta say is there better be some fake commercials included from Stay Tuned. I remember those like they happened yesterday.

I say SNL is the top show that features fake commercial ads. If you’ve tuned into SNL for so long, you likely couldn’t tell the difference if it’s gone to a real commercial break or is it really phony.

At the risk of sound ancient as dirt, my fav fake commercial on a TV show was on a Mary Tyler Moore Show episode in which Ted Baxter tricks the station into inserting an innocent sounding clause into his contract that they didn't realize lets him do commercials on the side. Out of the blue, he does one for the Miracle Slicer, then soon an unspecified "women's product," and for a country sausage as "Farmer Ted" during the newscast. That one finally riles up Lou Grant enough that he steamrolls Ted into stopping the ads. This showed Ted -- and TV advertising -- as unapologetically tacky, and it was the funniest MTM ever.

The "Robocop" franchise has a few fake commercials in their movies....
From the list I've seen Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, Serenity, Toy Story, Coming To America, I've seen some from Family Guy, Ghostbusters 2, Zoolander, The one from The Simpsons and Tropic Thunder.
The 1st time I found out that in USA "medical" products are obligated to list side effects at the end of the advert, I was watching Boondocks. Not in South Africa. This was the episode where Robert Freeman started smoking weed. He was tryna avoid the side effects.
I feel that the Friday After Next ad for Bros BBQ "Taste so good makes you wanna slap your momma!" should have made this list.
The ads popping up in the middle of this video somehow make its point even more clearly than the satirical ads in the video itself. 🤣
