It was really hard to find you again, but Im finally here. I was looking for your video about customized business card boxes, I didnt remember your channels name, and suprisingly, I was not subscribed. But all that is fixed now, and I hope to see new videos of yours soon. From México, thanks!
100% mah dude. Being more selective with my customers and projects I take on was so hard to transition into but it was the best thing I ever did for my work and my creativity. Keep up the hard work man. Oh and those Alex ikea drawers are great i got some too.
It feels so counterinuitive if you've always had a zero-sum mentality. But it's truly the only path forward to rewarding creative work that doesn't lead to burnout.
@@afinepress yeah no doubt. The struggle of having your brain make sense of it is the hardest part. Like I makes sense but at the same time it's scary but it all works out and has for me. What sucks though is when someone gets overly mad at me cause I respectfully recommend them finding someone else. They never go away after that lol 😂 find them creeping on social media all the time. It's weird
"I dont think I'm a good fit for you, heres someone that might be" Some insanely solid advice I wish I knew earlier in thr game. It's also one of the best ways to win a customer without ever booking them right there. Batton passing is still providing them a [potential] solution and one of the ways to keep your name on their brain should you be a better fit for something else in the future.
@@afinepress great advice in your video! More clients should realize that if they get sucked into the sales funnel or pipeline that they are going to get “cookie cutter” assembly line products and services. Great work takes time and collaboration……you can’t produce personal and meaningful in 5 minutes.
@@marcuravic7683 And affordable/off-the-shelf is a viable option to be sure, but people sell this advice as though it works for all sectors of the market. it doesn't.
Love your channel (the music, jacket, but especially your work) - and your comments are right on! Thanks!
