14:12 the problem for poles is not the wrong song but lack of transparency. After two weeks we still don’t know the official number of tele-votes and details of jury voting. Furthermore Edyta who was the head of jury did not know the rules herself , later she said that the result of “their voting” was dictated her by the voice in her headphones and their voting cards were taken when she was preparing her performance, bur she performed after the jury results were shown; some members, mainly the one who is music reporter after the results looked as if he do not know how they voted, he was surprised that Blanka won. Blanka does nothing to clear this, she claim that everything is haters imagination; Yes one jury member is her choreographer, she knows the head of jury as they both are the “stars” of the broadcaster and they participate in its music events; Blanka was supported by TVP and promoted in all music shows that it produce, in breakfast shows and news; she is supported by her publisher in Poland which is one of the biggest and influential in Poland; actually she tried to start her music career when she was teenager with three cringy songs. As an adult “Solo” is her second song at all! She has no albums, she hasn’t been performing even as a support on concerts. Her only work as a singer is performing “Solo” for some moths and covers in TVP. Jann is working with less know publisher but he record and publish some songs. He compose music and write lyrics, he has musical education and is actively performing, before NF he supported other polish artist and now he he’s his own tour which was sold out on the first day. He was not supported by TVP, he prepared his staging alone in 9 days. So we can’t imagine how his performance could look with more sources and support. So yes taking into account all of this, mainly facts, we feel pain and anger and disappointment.
I don't know, does Blanka have fans? They are very quiet... I've seen +30 reactions and read the commets last week and 99,9% (or more) are saying Jann is their winner. I sure understand that they are upset! I agree with you, in the summer at the beach, Blankas song will be nice, but compared to Jann, his song and performance is better and much more interesting.
I think most ppl would be OK with most other contestant winning. even tho jann was the favourite. I dont think there wouls be this much of an uproar if Alicja or Dominik won, because they also had good performances and can sing. This feels like slap in the face, and at this point more ppl are hoping we get disqualified simply because Blanka had connections with the jury and polish state tv before the competition and this feels like they decided on a winner well before the qualifiers started.... the big reaction just feels a symptom of way bigger corruption issues happening in Poland right now
Już o 15.30 na tronie TVP ukazały się wyniki, czyli Blanka na 1 miejscu, a Jann na 2.Po kilku minutach ta informacja zniknęła, ale ludzie zrobili screeny, więc są dowody. Prawdziwe ogłoszenie wyników było dopiero po godzinie 18, więc jej wygrana była ustawką. Niestety TVP do dnia dzisiejszego się do tego nie odniosło, ale też nie ujawniło jak zagłosowali poszczególni członkowie jury. Polacy są oburzeni. Pokrzywdzony został nie tylko Jann, który wygrał głosami widowni, ale inne osoby jak np. Alicja, które potrafią śpiewać. Po ogłoszeniu wyników w studiu telewizyjnym, kiedy ludzie usłyszeli, że Jann jest drugi krzyczęli "USTAWKA". Kiedy powiedziano, że Blanka wygrała była cisza. Nikt nie bił brawa, a tvp dla telewidzów puściła nagrane brawa. Polacy bardzo mocno czują się oszukani. Tym bardziej, że Edyta Górniak jako przewodnicząca jury kłamała, że widzowie głosowali tak samo jak jury na Blankę
This is perhaps the kindest reaction I've seen to this entry but, yes, it's very mediocre and really not at all competitive. We've heard it endless times before . English lesson: "Solo" doesn't rhyme with "Show ya" - her constant enunciation of the word as "Sola" is just a little irritating. Poland, or rather, TVP, hasn't done itself any favours with the wider community. There has been so much love for Poland over the years - they are one of those select few countries that many of us have longed for for many years to finally get a first ever win. Whatever, this is in a VERY weak SF2 and probably has every chance of qualifying for the grand final.in May.
