A lot of people who just started making art in gmod would find that looking at these videos would be discouraging, but in my opinion it really inspires me to experiment and try to do more with the little models i have, this art is incredible! keep up the good work :)
I'd argue that it's easier to make larger scale scenes like these in Gmod than in SFM because we don't have to worry about the memory limit, but thank you!
@@BrezzIsBae - wait, really? That's a deal-breaker then! SFM annoys me a lot when browsing through models because it keeps crashing whenever I'm viewing one high quality model after another.

I have a question, I really don't know how to download the generic ops mod, I've done it once but had to delete all my mods due to multiple errors. So could I have some help to download it
hey there, sorry for the late reply. if you still need help, download this and watch the video: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104603291 basically, download the zip file from ivan's workshop, and head over to your addons folder. my folder is located in D:\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons just drag and drop the folder inside the zip file into your addons folder. head into gmod, scroll down the spawnmenu, and there should be a new tab called "Legacy Addons" or something similar; gen ops should be in there if you installed it properly. remember: don't put the zip file in your addons folder, put folder inside the zip file into your addons folder. if you need more help or something, just watch the video that comes with the extended spawnmenu. that's how i learned
Make sure you check out YourLocalTrader on steam the stuff I make takes weeks to finish and a large amount of it is all detail, I’m making one while I type this!
@@BrezzIsBae Thanks! One more question, how did you get those models to move in that crouching position. I've tried using the position gizmo but it doesn't do anything.
FRISLOK yeah, i find it more practical for lighting larger scenes. Rendering layers allows for more options like sky layers or lightbounce layers. Normally, you wouldn’t be able to get that in gmod. Also, it vastly improves performance if you only have 1 lamp in a scene, rather than using a lot of lamps at once
