"Here is a man, asking the question. Is this really the end of the world?" Paul Rodgers is the GOAT. Still sounds as good today as he did in the 70's and one of the coolest down to earth dudes in the industry. One of my all-time favorite songs.
This was my all time favorite band. This was my first concert in 1977 I was 14 . I still listen to them all the time now. I'm almost 61 now and they always take me back to my young days.❤ Happy Valentine's Asia& BJ❤
This is from their first album, released in 1974. It also has “Bad Company”, “Ready For Love”, “Can’t Get Enough” and “Don’t Let Me Down” among others. I remember this coming out when I was in high school, and practically wearing out my 8-track because all the songs were so good. They’re still holding up 50 years later! ❤️
Your very lucky I was born in 91 my parents would jam this I've been jamming to it since elementary school they have so many good songs music now is a joke
I listened to this song over and over in the 70s. I haven’t listened to it in a long time. Seeing you react to it brings back a lot of great memories and times. It’s great to see younger folks listening to Bad Company!!
This song is tops for me. I feel like I am sailing on the seas and feeling the wind beneath the seagull wings. Beautiful song and acoustic guitar ❤ Thanks for your reaction Asia and BJ!!
This is a very overlooked song. So good!! Many radio stations tended to wear out the more popular hits but miss out on some great treasures. Glad you reacted to it.❤
Paul Rodgers wrote this song when he was on the beach, he saw a seagull flying by and he wanted to recreate the feeling of that moment. Hence the light breezy guitar, no drums or bass, relaxing feel.
More Fantastically Great music from the greatest decade in modern music history--The 70's.... Thank GOD I grew up in the 60's-70's as a youth then teenager.... Class of '80' 😊
I am class of 1973, I started as a freshman with Led Zeppelin and ended as a senior with Dark Side of the Moon. I could not agree more, I hit the musical lottery living when I did!
Hey Asia and BJ, thanks for playing this awesome song by Bad Company. Saw the Paul Rogers band a few years ago and they did this sounding much like the original version and Paul Rogers voice hadn’t changed since the Bad Company days!
Of all the Bad Company songs that I like this one is (for me) the most emotional 🥹 Even when I first heard it in 1986 I was 18 years old! Absolutely hit then and still to this day!
There were a lot of great bands before Bad Company, and I have certainly wanted to buy pretty much every one of their albums/CD's, but Bad Company was the first. I had to have everything. I am always surprised at how little acclaim they get. Oh, people know and love them, but not enough people speak of them the way you do. Thanks for that deeper dive. There are so many more.
Great song by one of my favorite singers. Another wonderful song is When the Eagle Flies by Traffic, different message but also haunting. Great reaction 👍👍👍
Also, if you are looking for another excellent song that captures the same feeling of seeing life through the eyes of an animal, then "When Eagles Fly" by Sammy Hagar. As fantastic as this one is, that song is a whole nother level. IMO
Loved seeing you listen.watch this for the first time. It’s an outlier but one of my favorite songs they have. It’s just beautiful. I sometimes listen to it with my young grandfhildren. Thank you Asia and BJ for another great discussion.
My little brother wants this played at his funeral, I'm 10yrs older than him he'll probably out live me 😮😮,this man has such a smooth rock voice and I could listen to him all day. Paul was also the front man singer of the band FREE😊😊❤❤
Great song from the amazing Paul Rodgers. One of the very best rock vocalists ever and as adept on acoustic or electric guitar, he can play anything and has on album (On solo classic Cut Loose, he plays everything, vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards, drums). Try the song Fragile from it, one of his best bangers. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
Nice reaction! Another really good Bad Company tune for you to check out is “Rock Steady” Speaking of good songs named Rock Steady, Aretha Franklin does a different song with this same title from back in the 70’s. Either Rock Steady, you can’t go wrong 😁
Paul Roger's is a vocal force..... Bad Company Bad Co. Was the first album, I purchased... circa 1974.... and they were fantastic live.....❤ now listen to Simple Man
This is 1 of my all time favorite classic rock songs & I’m pretty sure it’s because fm rock radio hasn’t totally ruined it for me the way they’ve done with A LOT of great songs?
Silver Blue and Gold and Running With The Pack were two other songs from this album that you might want to dive into. It was a very good 8-track 😅 Album 😂
I would love to see you react to "Good Loving Gone Bad" and "Simple Man" by Bad Company. These two songs are often overlooked...each has a different vibe but both of them are great songs.
So cool you would like to be a butterfly🦋.... I myself, have a fascination with dragonflies. I have a small fishpond & they hang around there in the summer....I like to sit out there & have them land on my hands.
Love David Bowie’s version of God Only Knows. PLEASE check out the following…. Asia and BJ, if youre doing Seagull, there's better songs off this record. You gotta try, 'The Way I Choose'. A great underrated song off that first record.

Paul Rogers has one of the best singing voices in Rock And Roll! His singing voice makes me swoon!

Shooting star is a great 1 too
Love this song
"The way I choose" and "Don't let me down" are a couple of Bad Co. gems....!
YES! The Way I Choose is a musical masterpiece, yet you hear so little about it. Don't Let Me Down is a close second. My two favorite Bad Co. songs.
@@MundoDragon Absolutely...! Mine too.
Great choice, great reaction! "Seagull" always brings tears.
His voice is hypnotic and I have always loved to listen to him. Rock Icon ❤
I listened to this song over and over in the 70s. I haven’t listened to it in a long time. Seeing you react to it brings back a lot of great memories and times. It’s great to see younger folks listening to Bad Company!!
The great Paul Rodgers, still sounding this good all these years later. How is this man not in the R&R Hall of Fame?
Because they would rather induct artists who have nothing to do with Rock and Roll.
Magnificent question. The only answer is the RRHOF is total trash.
Great tune and I agree “Silver, Blue & Gold” is another gem! Paul Rodges is one of the great rock singers!
such an awesome tune. one of Bad Co.'s most severely underrated
This song is tops for me. I feel like I am sailing on the seas and feeling the wind beneath the seagull wings. Beautiful song and acoustic guitar ❤ Thanks for your reaction Asia and BJ!!

Paul Rogers' voice is incredible live too.

Paul Rogers and Brian Howe are two completely different voices. Both are very good.

His Voice ! One of my favorites ! Right up there with Steve Walsh from Kansas !
Best thing about Butterflies is their complete transformation. AND their ability to fly coupled with absolute fragility

"Silver Blue And Gold" Another beautiful song by them. You won't be disappointed.
Also, if you are looking for another excellent song that captures the same feeling of seeing life through the eyes of an animal, then "When Eagles Fly" by Sammy Hagar. As fantastic as this one is, that song is a whole nother level. IMO
