Very nicely explained the difference btwn gas & oil. I passed thru this hasselt & my Dr.Vatsalsaheb put gas in my eye. Now I can see thru my eye but lost right corner of my eye. But it's better to have something than nothing. I follows ur videos, it's nice always. Thank you Sir

Sir it depends on the chronicity of disease. Fresh ERMs definitely get improved vision after surgery. Old ERM gets stable vision and sometimes may have some improvement. Very very rarely only it may deteriorate

डॉक्टर साहब नमस्ते मैने आपके वीडियो यू ट्यूब पर देखा मझे बहुत अच्छा लगा है मुझे अचानक दीपावली के दिन अचानक रॉकेट मेरी दाहिनी आंख में टच होते हुए निकल गया जिस कारण से मुझे तुरंतदिखाई देना बंद हो गया और आंख में सूजन और दर्द हो गया लेकिन इसके बाद रेटीना स्पेशलिस्ट को कानपुर में दिखाया तब बताया कि आंख के अंदर का लेंस टूट गया है और रेटीना में blood होने के कारण रेटीना की पोजिशन क्लियर दिखाई नहीं दे रही हैं अल्ट्रासाउंके द्वारा देखा कि अंदर लेंस टूट कर गिर गया है जिस कारण से ब्लड रेटीना में चला गया है जिसको दो हफ्ते की eye drop दिए जिसके बाद दिखाया तब बताया कि सर्जरी करनी पड़ेगी जिससे अंदर टूटा हुआ लेंस निकालेगे और रेटीना में ब्लड जमा है उसको साफ करेगे तब रेटीना की सही पोजिशन पता चलेगी तब एक हफ्ते बाद सर्जरी कराई सर्जरी कराने के समय लेंस निकाला ओर ब्लड साफ किया तभी पता चला कि रेटीना में एक छोटा होल है जिस पर होल भरने के लिए गैस डाली है लेकिन रेटीना अटैच है डिटैच नही है तब यह बताया कितीन चार हफ्ते गैस खत्म होने के बाद देखेगे की चश्मा लगाने में नजर आती हैं तभी हम लेंस डालेंगे यह सब अभी तक की पोजिशन है डॉक्टर साहब अब आप हमको बताने की कृपा करें कि इस पोजीशन पर नजरआएगी कि नही

Venerable Dr Sumit, watched your video on eyes. Beautifully explained all aspects. I was operated for cataract in2007 and during surgery post capsule ruptured and retina detached. Iwent to Aiims and silicon oil was inserted 4 /5 times each time they insert oil because not fully attached. 2022 dec oil appear in ant chamber, they removed oil. Cornea become hazzy and IOP droped eye shrinked pthysis. I am disturbed. Pl suggest what should I do to normal eye it is operated for cataract vision 6/6. So I can lead a normal life. All Retina detachment should be operated regardless of vision improvement chances. Surgery will atleast save the eye. Vision nobody can predict for sure.
Hello sir my husband is 66 years old, almost 75 day ago he had undergone a surgery for retinal detachment with oil filling. Now after proper examination doctor has told that a layer has been built in. To remove this layer and extra oil from the eye doctor suggested a single surgery. Is it ok to go with the single surgery? Hello. Sometimes it may happen. You should trust your surgeon. Retina detachment is an unpredictable disease and all we can do is go for timely treatment as and when the need arises.

Namaskar Dr sahab 🙏🏻 my wife is 33 and she got VR surgery in her left eye due to RD.. we immediately got her operated on the 2nd day.. It was PPV + AFE + EL + silicone.. Usually this problem is pretty common in 50+ but how often you have seen this in young folks.. we have been told that it could be due to extreme myopia but her left eye power was -5.. other than that her BP sugar is always normal.. pls guide and in how much time she can join her office back post surgery

Sir kya change in teeths or facial bones can trigger retina detachment. Sir i have retina detachment. Sir meri left eye ke bone or left canine teeth mein dard rehta hai. Kya face ke left side le compression se retina detachment ho sakta hai. Aur sir ek last thing kya retina surgery ke baad agar mere teeths front ke jo nakli hai woh agar zor se break hote toh meri eyes toh asar nahi hoga sir mein bahut pareshan hoon 6 th Dec ko surgery hai samajh nahi aata kya karoon i m 40 years old. Sir it depends on the chronicity of disease. Fresh ERMs definitely get improved vision after surgery. Old ERM gets stable vision and sometimes may have some improvement. Very very rarely only it may deteriorate

मुझे अचानक दीपावली के दिन अचानक रॉकेट मेरी दाहिनी आंख में टच होते हुए निकल गया जिस कारण से मुझे तुरंतदिखाई देना बंद हो गया और आंख में सूजन और दर्द हो गया लेकिन इसके बाद रेटीना स्पेशलिस्ट को कानपुर में दिखाया तब बताया कि आंख के अंदर का लेंस टूट गया है और रेटीना में blood होने के कारण रेटीना की पोजिशन क्लियर दिखाई नहीं दे रही हैं अल्ट्रासाउंके द्वारा देखा कि अंदर लेंस टूट कर गिर गया है जिस कारण से ब्लड रेटीना में चला गया है जिसको दो हफ्ते की eye drop दिए जिसके बाद दिखाया तब बताया कि सर्जरी करनी पड़ेगी जिससे अंदर टूटा हुआ लेंस निकालेगे और रेटीना में ब्लड जमा है उसको साफ करेगे तब रेटीना की सही पोजिशन पता चलेगी तब एक हफ्ते बाद सर्जरी कराई सर्जरी कराने के समय लेंस निकाला ओर ब्लड साफ किया तभी पता चला कि रेटीना में एक छोटा होल है जिस पर होल भरने के लिए गैस डाली है लेकिन रेटीना अटैच है डिटैच नही है तब यह बताया कितीन चार हफ्ते गैस खत्म होने के बाद देखेगे की चश्मा लगाने में नजर आती हैं तभी हम लेंस डालेंगे यह सब अभी तक की पोजिशन है

Venerable Dr Sumit, watched your video on eyes. Beautifully explained all aspects. I was operated for cataract in2007 and during surgery post capsule ruptured and retina detached. Iwent to Aiims and silicon oil was inserted 4 /5 times each time they insert oil because not fully attached. 2022 dec oil appear in ant chamber, they removed oil. Cornea become hazzy and IOP droped eye shrinked pthysis. I am disturbed. Pl suggest what should I do to normal eye it is operated for cataract vision 6/6. So I can lead a normal life. Hello Doctor,
My father had HST operation in the month of october,and later in the month of January second surgery was done to remove the oil from the retina,was later filled with gas.now he's complaining about bubble that interrupts the vision.
Will it disappear or will this bubble remain where it is?

Sir meri maa ka jiski age 69 year hai . Aankh ke parda ka opretion 17 may 2022 ko silicon oil dal kar kiya gaya tha virat aankh aspatal virat nagar me . 45 din baad fir oil change Kiya gaya .fir 1month baad oil remove karne ke liye dr. Bulaye the pr abhi tak gaya nahi. Kyonki do baar opretion ke kaaran aankh ke paas dard hota hai . Aankh ki roshni 60% aagayi hai .kya oil nikalna jaruri hai.agar jaruri hai to maximum kitne din baad tak nikalwa sakte hain . Pls. Suggest me .
We have to remove oil if there is redetachment / oil becomes white / pressure increases. If everything is ok, we remove around 4-6 months.

My father has been done retinal surgery..his retina was detached and after the operation doctor was unsure of the success..what can you suggest of his retina operation
All Retina detachment should be operated regardless of vision improvement chances. Surgery will atleast save the eye. Vision nobody can predict for sure.

Hello sir my husband is 66 years old, almost 75 day ago he had undergone a surgery for retinal detachment with oil filling. Now after proper examination doctor has told that a layer has been built in. To remove this layer and extra oil from the eye doctor suggested a single surgery. Is it ok to go with the single surgery? Hello. Sometimes it may happen. You should trust your surgeon. Retina detachment is an unpredictable disease and all we can do is go for timely treatment as and when the need arises.

Namaskar Dr sahab 🙏🏻 my wife is 33 and she got VR surgery in her left eye due to RD.. we immediately got her operated on the 2nd day.. It was PPV + AFE + EL + silicone.. Usually this problem is pretty common in 50+ but how often you have seen this in young folks.. we have been told that it could be due to extreme myopia but her left eye power was -5.. other than

Sir kya change in teeths or facial bones can trigger retina detachment. Sir i have retina detachment. Sir meri left eye ke bone or left canine teeth mein dard rehta hai. Kya face ke left side le compression se retina detachment ho sakta hai. Aur sir ek last thing kya retina surgery ke baad agar mere teeths front ke jo nakli hai woh agar zor se break hote toh meri eyes toh asar nahi hoga sir mein bahut pareshan hoon 6 th Dec ko surgery hai samajh nahi aata kya karoon i m 40 years old. My retina is very damaged.

My mother normal eye passer 18/18. After phaco+ ilo+vit+fge+el+sol+la karnay bad I pasher bar gay ha 46/18 and bohot pane hoty ha eye may 21/10/2022 may ot hua hay . ay kay normal hay ? Pasher kay bajna say uska brane may vee pane hotay hay.

Chances for redetachment are always there. No heavy lifting, jerks to the body, eye rubbing. Regular retina check ups
