This is the season that got me to love ZOOM. Caroline, Kenny and Zoe were great in this season. This is the only season that we see Ray, Claudio and Jessie. The first season that we see Caroline as she participates in seasons 2,3,4 and 5 and Kenny as he goes to do this season and season 3 with Caroline. This is the last season to feature contributions from Alisa and Zoe and we also get special guests, Jared, Keiko, Pablo, David and Lynese later on in this season as well.

Season 2 isn't that special to me. It's not even because of Claudio, well maybe at first but this season brings back no memories for me. I like Caroline older and I think I like Kenny more in season 3 but he's still awesome here.

I loved how they had Alisa play one of the monsters in this segment. Her monster face makeup was on point, I liked her costume as well. Especially her curly hair. Believe it or not, the hair department put some blue hairspray in her curly mane, made it run loose and monster wild.

I wonder if when you first saw season two. the schedule got messed up as well and this episode aired the next week and you missed it. I find it hard to believe your station would skip over an episode unless it was preempted for something, which it was on my stations sometimes. I don't think 101 was rerun where I lived after July 2000, unless I was lucky enough to have it randomly reair the next March like it did in Idaho.

Assuming 138 and 140 were the only season 1 episodes that didn't originally have ZOOM a cum Laude than I think this one and 239 were the only ones in this season that didn't originally have it. Alisa is definitely short a few so there's a good chance there are missing ones.

This first one feels really choppy and rushed. Maybe it's cause it was like that in season one although it could be cause the original intro was something like season 3 and they remastered it.

When I first saw season 2 in 2000, I swear that in one really early episode of the season, there was this ubbi dubbi skit where Kenny was supposedly taking a bath while wearing a bathing suit (in what looked like the pool Zoe and Jessie used in 207). It stuck out in my mind as people didn't typically wear bathing suits in the bath. I remember being interested about where it was when you uploaded the entirety of season 2, but it was nowhere to be found. But I swear I didn't imagine this!

I know I've said that Alisa was the reason I gave this season a chance. But I feel she had a much better year in season one, and having her just in that would make her more special. Instead, I would have had Lynese and David (instead of Claudio) return with Zoe.

ZOOMfan1 201 aired in August 2002 and October 2003. 240 aired in December 2002 and February 2004. Plus, you got two stations, so that's 4 airings between.
***** You might be right, but there were times I missed recordings, like if I was on vacation or busy. That's why I recorded each ep whenever I could incase A. I didn't record the ep yet or B. I needed a back up because the other version was bad quality. It helped me with a full tape of season 6 eps I had, the film came out and was completely destroyed. Good thing I had a back-up.
ZOOMfan1 Well, it was season 6, so that wouldn't have been a problem. I've come to the conclusion the 306, 307, 311, 315, 318 and 329 are missing their true stingers. I don't know what 301-305, 308-310, 312-314, 316, 317, 319-328, and 330-340's shortened stingers would have been either.

Kenny is just awesome, and so is Alisa, Ray, Zoe, and Caroline. Jessie is pretty cool too although her lisp bothers me and that's it.

I didn't like the ZOOMDo the first time I saw it cause it was, well, season 2 and it was hard for me to like it cause it was different. Now I consider it a ZOOM classic.

I know I've said that Alisa was the reason I gave this season a chance. But I feel she had a much better year in season one, and having her just in that would make her more special. Instead, I would have had Lynese and David (instead of Claudio) return with Zoe.
BirdOfPrey12 Zoe and Alisa like season 1 better I'm sure and I think Kenny liked 3 more. Caroline would probably agree this was her least favorite season and enjoyed being on when she was older.

+FamilyGuyFanSince2008 I believe 201 and 240 are the only eps that were rerun only once when I started recording the show, as well.
ZOOMfan1 201 aired in August 2002 and October 2003. 240 aired in December 2002 and February 2004. Plus, you got two stations, so that's 4 airings between.
***** You might be right, but there were times I missed recordings, like if I was on vacation or busy. That's why I recorded each ep whenever I could incase A. I didn't record the ep yet or B. I needed a back up because the other version was bad quality. It helped me with a full tape of season 6 eps I had, the film came out and was completely destroyed. Good thing I had a back-up.

I've come to the conclusion the 306, 307, 311, 315, 318 and 329 are missing their true stingers. I don't know what 301-305, 308-310, 312-314, 316, 317, 319-328, and 330-340's shortened stingers would have been either.
***** A lot of shortened stingers were basically the same ones used a lot. Ik one short version was of Rachel with alphabet pretzels.

+Adam Sukenick Like I mentioned I was only able to revisit this season in 2004 through my tapes from early 2000 (which I'd barely watched since season 2 ended), as this season had been retired by then.
Adam Sukenick 217 was pretty cool too but this is definitely my favorite of his too.

I think this and 333 are the only episodes to have two scenes where they speak in ubbi dubbi. But who knows if Kenny and Ray's rap was even originally from this episode. They might have put it in as filler after cutting both the skit and ZOOMa Cum Laude out.
