- Join me HW for a walk with commentary up the famous Glebe Point Road Sydney. Starting on the beautiful shores of Rozelle Bay head up the road, taking in all the Federation and Victorian homes. We stop at a coffee shop for the obligatory nectar and later absorb the delightful aromas coming out of all the cafes and restaurants as we get closer to Broadway. Come get around it.

Hi HW,
Thank you for a lovely walk.
I love old houses. I have watched Australian soap operas in my early days and the houses were just the same on your video.
Beautiful weather there. It has been like autumn here Yorkshire, but the sun is out and shining outside, before I go to work.
Have a good weekend.
☀️🙏
Excellent. Good to hear. You have a good weekend too.
😊fabulous homes 🏡 ✨️
Nice work as usual HW. Fascinating suburb. You picked a perfect day. Cheers, ☕️
Thanks for watching. It was a great day. 🙏
Love your walks mate. Thanks for creating them. Especially love the North Shore ones as evokes so many memories. Cheers.
Appreciate you watching. Thanks 🙏
Great video fella, amazing amount of shops on that road.
Yep still got some high street vibes. But important where your shop is located. A few dead zones in parts unfortunately. Thanks for watching. 🙏
Hey HW, looks like you were able to enjoy a beautiful autumn day! Bet those homes along your walk cost a pretty penny. Must say, you guys have great coffee shops wherever you look. Need to bring some over here. All we have are the chains like Starbucks and dunkin' donuts. Thanks for the walk. Enjoy your weekend!
Yeh Steve and Sue we are lucky with our great coffee. Thanks to the Italian and Greek migrants who showed us how it was done. When I was over on your East Coast I found that an extra shot made your coffee a bit more palatable.
Fantastic day HW loved the walk, the old terrace houses and Badde Manners on the corner of Francis St bit of an icon that spot for cafes over the years. Love Glebe for its old buildings, its past history looking a bit tired though a little shot of trendy might bring it back to life. Cheers 😊P
Yeh it's a great place. Pity it just doesn't seem to get the foot traffic it once did.
Looking forward to catching up with your history tour. 😊
Great seeing another side of Sydney, never been to glebe. Love seeing so many eateries/cafes and made me hungry too
It’s true what you say about managers. I have a good friend that keeps telling me she couldn’t do what I do as she could never be a manager and have to attack problems all the time. I am sure even if you said what move you watched that you are still younger than I am 😅. Yess I love tin roofs when raining. I was brought up in the Caribbean with a tin roof ❤ thanks for another great video HW
I know what it's like. Been a Manager myself many times. Caribbean hey Brenda. Wow that would have been an adventure. Not sure I'd like to be in the path of hurricanes though. Thanks for watching. 🙏
@@hwtours fortunately for me the island I lived on we didn’t have much hurricane damages at all! I was lucky but it was very exciting also as a kid, with the storm and shutters all closed up, yet enjoying the rain on the tin roof.
@@brenl5727 lucky.
Hi HW, I do like that area with the eclectic mix of houses. Was the film The Jaz Singer?😉
Haha 😂
I saw on Google that Australia 🇦🇺 is having a major cold 🥶 snap ahead of your shortest day of winter on June 21st ..here its been mostly cool and VERY wet 🌧..supposed to heat up in July here ..Eastern Canada 🇨🇦 is hot however
Yeh it’s quite a shock for us. Getting mornings in the low digits. Been a Southwest wind too. Surely must be some snow in the mountains.
Many years ago, the Thai government started giving out free money to people who wanted to start restaurants overseas. That's when they all started appearing. It's turned out well, they're popular.
Yep love me a good Thai curry. Thanks for sharing the info. 🙏
This is where i live. Best coffee is at Otto Norba .
Didn’t show on Google maps. Are they listed?
I like your all videos
Please can you help me
Thanks what’s doing?
@@hwtours where are you from
@@Children_cartoon2004 Sydney Eastern Suburbs originally. Now North Shore.
@@hwtours wow nice
But Iam from Pakistan 😢😭
@@Children_cartoon2004 that’s a long way from Sydney.
There is nothing nice about Glebe Point, it look nice on the video but it doesn't have the atmosphere, most of them are saving their whole life and manage to buy an apartment and property there thinking they are good like Northern Beaches people. Pyrmont much better with high quality people living there .Why do you try Rhode along Parramatta rivers and walk all the way to Homebush bay
I like it ok. I will make it back out along the Parramatta river eventually. Thanks for watching.
