python script is using only one core of your processor except if it use special library, but python is slow for brute forcing. it would be better to use hashcat with john the ripper, those softs are way faster than python .

I honestly thought zip and rar password protections were a solved thing already? Like why even brute force when you have a turn key solution? Pdf might be another story but yeah if you're using zip containers you're not actually concerned with secure encryption

i have a problem using zydra, if the -x (maxlength) is more than 1 digit, it might cause some error
A file that is pgp encrypted is much more complex, attach a sig to it and use 7zip with 7z extension with @least 16 characters.. give em hell Malone! LOL
What I want to know is how to send encrypted email in the terminal....I wish Null byte would do a article or video on that...

@@solidsnake123100 I didn’t find a fix for this. Tried on an old iMac and it worked fine.
@@mark54537 i found the fix already. There is a problem in the script you need to replace IS with == in one line and as is described in hint then it is working fine.
to fix the ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'termcolor' just do pip install termcolor in the terminal

best password is hash your password and use that hash as your password(mean is long but you not need remember it just hash your password and you get that password but not use crypt method that give allways random lol). bruteforce that xD

Hydra vs Zydra?
Hydra is for cracking online services (ftp,ssh,http[s] auth etc.) and Zydra is for cracking password protected files.
