@Ron McDon honestly, a bit of restriction does wonders for creativity. "YOU ONLY HAVE THESE TOOLS" forces you to work it. And when a dude like Kemal works it, this shit happens. But give a person a basically unlimited toolset(modern technology) and they get lost in the possibilities.... without ever actually doing anything but try a bit of each one... instead of picking one and rolling with it. Or something. Regardless, this shit right here is magic...a moment in time, gone forever. But we can still enjoy the artifacts, at our whim, thanks to that modern technology :D
I was so happy I got to tell Kemal in person how bad this track was at The Baltic Room in Seattle back in 2001. He then played it in his set which was a risk cause this shit is so deep. The Place To Be.
mushfique.m hey! Hah I forgot I left this comment. Glad you found me! I have some other dnb videos like that one on my Instagram and Facebook if you’re interested. Some other music performances on TH-cam. Thanks for reaching out.
Way prefer this side. Plan B is bottom tier Kemal for me. But then so is messiah. Different strokes…. This one, Roadblock, Konspiracy, Lime, Obsidian, Bleed, The Mummy, Portal, Celestal, Submerge are probably my top tier list of K&RD tunes. Prefer their more stripped back & minimal rolling bits
After so many years Kemal and Rob sound better than 90% of scene right now.
always have and always will
@neurotechstepdnb I gotta say the recent Kid Drama stuff really gels with tunes like this very nicely.
