I love Bennington. I haven't heard Ron this happy or having this much fun in years. Hicks has always been great and Gail is starting to come into her own. To each their own though.
I love Ronnie B but I cant listen to Gail. She's really bad. Any time they even touch on a hot button subject, she espouses her very liberal political beliefs with this condescending sneer. Her tone implies that if you dont also share her beliefs then you must be racist, dumb, or both. I'm a Libertarian, tbh I genuinely do not care what she believes. But that isnt what bothers me. What kills me is how she immediately sucks all of the funny out of the room several times an hour with her moral grandstanding. Again, I do love Ronnie B. I don’t think she realizes how lucky she is to be where she is. The other incident that turned me from being a big Ron fan was how there was a time on the show where every week he would say how this show on either showtime or HBO was an amazing show. Said everyone should be watching it. When talking to guests would bring it up in conversation, this went on for months...then months after the show completed its first season he randomly dropped in conversation that the show runner or head writer was a close friend of Gail. That incident combined with Gails fury at Hillary losing made it easy for me to cancel my subscription and walk away
