Fun! Having the movement come from the cards is a really nice twist. I was also worried about how much I'd need it since I have base ROVE but it seems like a really nice alternative that is also just more of what I love already!
Thanks so much for this play-through and thoughts! I have not played ROVE enough with all the module expansions to warrant getting this one… yet… but it will for sure be on a future reprint campaign!
The original rove was too much of a brain burner puzzle for me. The designer and testers said that aqua and junior are much more approachable for newer players.
I can definitely see that! ROVE Jr, for sure and with Aqua ROVE, not having each module limited with a specific movement certainly can free up some brain space for folks. :)
ROVE is my favorite ButtonShy. I’m so here for this version.
Yesss, letsgoooo!!!! Can't wait for you to trt it! 🥳
Yay!!! I can't wait for this!!! I love how the mission cards overlap vertically because its diving!
I knowwww. The vertical panorama is on point!!! 😄
Instant back for me. ROVE is my favorite Button Shy game.
Eyyyy, that's awesome! :)
The Kickstarter for Aqua Rove and Rove Junior is set for April 9th. Both games for $20 during the campaign. Can't wait for more details.
Awesome! That's a steal, for sure! ^^

Yeah, absolutely! I was really impressed with how they changed things up without making a completely different game. ^^
Now that I did a 180 and am a “Rove” fan, I could see me eventually buying this.
Haha, glad to hear it! This was definitely refreshing after playing many-a-game in the desert! 🫡
@@tabletoptokki The Patrick Starfish side of me certainly approves.
Damn. Two weeks in a row with a Spongebob reference. 🫢
Quick, find another underwater-themed game for next week! 😂
@@tabletoptokki Oh drat, uh uh. Aquamarine. Oh. You did that already. Barnacles. I can’t stop…
There's gotta be at least ONE more out there. :p
This looks fun, thanks for the playthrough!
Absolutely! Super glad I decided to do a full PaRTy video instead of just a comparison/ review! 😁

Def worth considering! :)
I have to buy this (and Jr.) just for the cuteness! Maybe someday I'll actually play my OG Rove with all the expansions...
Ahh, yes to both! ROVE Jr video coming soon! 😄
Looking forward to trying it!
Absolutely! It's such a fun twist on the classic!🩵
Looks good. Really liked the OG.
very cool . might have to pick this up. I have the original, i think it needs a buddy
They can be bffs! Water and desert are a cool pairing. ^^
So would you say that aqua Rove is slightly easier than OG Rove?
I would say yes! I think it will be slightly less of a brain-burner for most people, because each module doesn't have specific movement patterns. ^^
Cool thanks. I love your Button Shy reviews
I mean. Who wouldn't want more Rove after seeing this? Maniacs. That's who
She speaks the truth!!! 🙇🏻♀️😂
I just bought my 12th copy because I’m not a maniac!

There is more. She has also got a copy of rove Jr to review as well.
nice sweater!
sheesh, I haven't even gotten around to playing rove... but nice to see you enjoying this ♥
Thank you! And hope you get to play your copy soon! 😊
@@tabletoptokkiBeat me to it -- I was going to compliment your sweater too, haha.
@@ButOneThingIsNeedfulHaha, thanks! Can't go wrong with $7 clearance sweaters I guess. 😂
@@tabletoptokki Maybe not when they're an enchanting shade of blue-green. ;)
How do you not have 1 million+ subscribers? TH-cam is stupid.
Aww, thank you!! 🙆🏻♀️😂
