      "At Mazda we spent $32m developing suspension of MX-5 car. You have made suspension better with $200 eBay rubbish. You are genius. Job waiting for you here in Japan."

      @@Jason-fp7vi you know that a OEM developed suspension have lots of compromises that people modifying cars for a better driving experience don't care so much? Things like comfort, production price per unit, off road use, compliance ate very bad roads...Mazda making a million units of a car will have to be sure it will works just ok on most imaginary situations. A random dude wanting to track his MX5 just want a lower and stiffer behavior with better weight control.

      @@mc1996 lower and stiffer does not always mean better if it ruins the suspension geometry. Stiffer suspension can also worsen mechanical grip in certain scenarios

    Would be nice some sort of group where people would post their aero developments. I would love to share and to see other projects to keep me motivated : )

    If I had aero friends I would share your work with them. I find it hard to convince regular people to care about their vehicles aero even though it may save them money.

    Great information on this subject. Most drivers cannot appreciate it, but it is a gem. I actually used vortex generators on my vehicle to reduce afterbody drag. They worked well. They have to be installed correctly. Some kits are just decorations, but before and after tuft testing proved to me that VGs work. Thanks for making the video.

    Your videos are too underrated, find the way to apply these concepts to some famous YT cars and you'll have the resonance you deserve!

    What does the wind tunnel says on these 2

    • @JulianEdgar
      @JulianEdgar  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No need for a wind tunnel. Measure lift/downforce on the road.... easy.
