I come from a family of boxers. I grew up watching Ali and other greats in the 60s and 70s. I have seen a lot of fights in boxing, UFC and MMA. I had never ever heard of Gatti until I watched this video. He had it all. What a fighter !!! I don’t know what lead up to his suicide but how absolutely heartbreaking. Rest in Paradise champ you certainly earned a rest while here on earth.

His wife did not kill him. Gatti suffered from severe C.T.E. from all the punches to the head that he took during his boxing career. Many people that suffer from that malady do commit suicide. Junior Seau the legendary NFL linebacker died in a very similar way to Arturo Gatti.
I seen this fight live…grew watching boxing because my dad was a golden glove boxer. He would never let me box. I knew I had seen the greatest fight ever that day, and there was two more to come. These two just made a great fight because of their styles.
