- In today's video we're playing part 1 of Battle for Neighborville's campaign, since this game has an actual campaign.

I enjoy the game very much, mostly because you can move and kill very quickly, and the best thing is that you can heal very quickly and come back fighting the enemies with full strength, and also I can kill 3 by myself without any help from the team, which means you can become a one man army if your team is bad.
I will agree that everything plays at a much faster pace, which can keep things more engaging, it's just the goofy lines and character designs that bring the game down for me personally, but I can try to adapt:)
@@CJ_MAX550I personally don’t really have that much of a problem with the character designs (besides how they massacred my boy Crazy Dave (and partially Peashooter)), though I do agree, the goofy lines bring it down a little bit. It’s clear that this game was built mostly with young children in mind instead of the older audience.

i actually got bfn yesterday and it plays a lot different to gw2, i overall like gw2 a lot more, but nightcap is so cool
i wish the dialogue wasnt so godawful though
I very much agree. If Nightcap was in GW2, they’d be one of my favorite characters, if not my favorite character. As for the dialogue, it just feels like this enter game was catered to kids with cringey terms and references, which I understand that PVZ is a mobile game that a lot of kids play, but still, not in a $40 title, at least when it dropped.

I can totally respect if people like this game, I just find it hard not to compare this game to GW2, and to me, I personally like GW2 a lot better
GW2 was the best one in my opinion, the hub area felt larger and had more variety of plants and zombies fighting at the center.
@@CJ_MAX550 yeah i like more GW2 too, probably because it's a different build of the engine that GW2 used and probably is a bit off putting because after playing for years GW2 this feels off. But i understand if someone does not like this game, at the end of the day the world is a good place because there is variety
I feel like this game is very flawed, but I also think people often have bad opinions of it because they’re expecting garden warfare 3. This isn’t garden warfare 3, it’s pretty significantly different. I think if you approach the game as a standalone one, it can become a lot more enjoyable. Now, whenever i’m stressing because gw2 is insanely imbalanced and i’m sick of electro peas, i hop on my switch to play bfn. The game isn’t perfect, nor is it very balanced, but it’s a hell of a lot more balanced than the gw games. Also, i personally don’t care for the campaign at all. I’m not interested in the underwhelming gameplay nor the story imo.
I can respect this take, as looking at this game as it’s own thing, it’s an ok game for me, but its just hard not to compare when not only Garden Warfare 2 exists, but it’s clearly trying to be Garden Warfare 3, just without the name.

I feel like the game just needed more content compared to Gw2 because garden warfare 2 had various hours of gameplay and if you complete all the regions in bfn it just becomes brain dead and these regions pretty much are just copy and paste with a different twist and theme
While i prefer GW 2 (i have over 600 hours in that game to say that) i do think BFN is very mistreated and is just a decent 6.5 out of 10 to maybe a low 7.
I dont hate the artstyle as most people and prefer some like Super Brains and actually relaly love the new comers designs like Nightcap, Space Cadet, 80s action hero and snap dragon. I do think the game is very lacking in stuff you can do and the way to make your own playstyle different is limited but thats it.
I also do enjoy the story mode but beacuse i never got to bothered by the dialgoue (i know its not good but i been aeound folks all my life sounding like this so im just very numb to the feeling)
Long story short. GW 2 is better but i can never join the side that this game is just bad and nothing is good from it
That's completely fair, and maybe if I put more time into the game, I might start appreciating it a bit, but for the time being, my opinion is still of that.

The switch actually removed all micro transactions and that was very in the favor of it in the other console ports for the custom shop

I looked gw 2 videos and i like gw2 alot but rn its my only pvz shooter game so i play bfn
My favorite part of the campaign is the diamond gnomes- if they were in gw2 I would say bfn is not as good
The campaign is probably the only thing BfN is better at. But GW2 is superior in everything else, especially Ops.
As a bfn player that has played it over 2k hours here is what I can say.
You should try to get to the finale bosses as there well made and there are tons of things to discover in the campaign. You did two things out of 9 other things, I will say the bounty are annoying, but try the rest as most players on first sight seem to hate the game, but the players that enjoy it really played it for a while and found out they do like it.
On how the game looks, it's trying to be wacky, silly, cartoony and the reason is that in pvz1, pvz2, the comics, trailers, and other stuff they fit that theme and PVZ is meant to be wacky so they made it and I think its good. The GW2 didn't feel as right to me and feels like a Call of duty or something.
The sounds can be useful at times of helping the user, if you dont like them you can turn them down if I'm correct. They help the game feel more alive well gw2 is kind of quite.
I would like to see you try the game more, as ik a lot of players have the same reaction as you, but I met players that tried for a bit and liked it. If you like competitive gameplay thats bfn. It has more teamwork then gw2 will ever have and a higher skill cap.
I do plan on doing a whole playthrough of the campaign on the channel, as well as a video of the game here and there, so maybe as time goes on, I'll start to appreciate the game, but for the time being, I still like GW2 better

Please do not play this on pc or any garden warfare games,Fuji a pvz youtuber put out a video saying the games aren't safe due to hackers who may get your account and ban it.
