The idea behind Scoot B is the order of operations. Lunge moves you then shoots, where Scoot B takes the shot first then zips you away.

Your videos are like brain teasers to me. I suck at strategy games, so I watch to see how you do to get an idea of what works. As you play the game, I try to predict what you'd do as practice. But you always do the unexpected and make it work! Cobalt Core is an example of a game that is fun to see what crazy strategy you'll use next.

Hey Retro, take another look at "battle repair B" visible at 14:05
It is a crazy good card if you have a card that can exhaust use a card like "admin deploy"
You coukd have an exhaustable :
2 regular shield
4 heal
Every battle for 1 or 2 energy
And even more so if you have a way to draw from the exhaust pile.
Which this game has many ways to do.

My hypothesis is that these super close calls are because of some of the slightly odd-ball combos we're getting into that can do crazy things, but can go very specifically wrong without any basic answers like dodge or shields.

I think you really should have considered upgrading more cards so they cost 0, especially with the artefact that makes you draw cards for playing cards.
Like, it means that if you run out of energy, the card drew from playing that card is more likely to still be playable
