I think I have two main problems with the story. Mainly, I don't think there was much build up to the climax. The plot didn't develop into the climax, there was mainly just an event that happened at the very end that was only vaguely set up. The second part is the question of establishing characters and what it was for. They seemed to drop off the page. This can be remedied in Book 3, so I won't be too harsh on it. I understand the focus on character, rather than plot. The problem with me is that part of what makes characters real is their impact on the plot. It grounds them.
I can agree about the conclusion. It just sort of happened. There were subtle things like the discovery of Whitby and what he was up to, or seemingly up to. Maybe that was part of the trigger: the discovery. We'll see what answers we get in the last book.
i loved how this chapters showed the paranoia and the how the unknow made people go crazyy
Thanks for the book!! do i write to you on discord?
Yeah it's an appropriate conclusion even though it's a cliffhanger.
