The idea of leaving my home, going to another country for 60 days + and then just sitting in a hotel room, is my idea of hell! It can only be for the visa.

It didn’t take long to go from smug, experienced world traveller, who is doing things we could never do because we don’t have lives or her adventurous spirit, , to being totally over Bangkok and homesick after visiting 2 malls and 7-11.
Oh and don’t forget “where’s your man”?! BTW where is your man man who is taking his own separate vacation
If she's so miserable, so 'over it' & wants to go home, why doesn't she? Ohhhhh, that's right.. because she CAN'T. Isn't it true she has to be (just like last year, same exact thing/place) OUT of the country for 29+ days once per year, in order to reapply for her visa? After which time, she has to submit the mystery paperwork she's been procrastinating & mentioning "stressing about", which takes 3-10 business days to approve so she CAN return?? That's why she's there & she can try to convince herself, but isn't fooling anyone. Oh & also, isn't it true that things recently changed where Salah, a Syrian native in Kuwait on whatever status he is.... cannot currently leave the Country?? If so.. THAT'S why he wasn't going & isn't coming.... can't. She's delusional. She'd rather keep up the twists & the lies, than admit what we all already know. Her marriage is in words & her brain only. She's a tourist on her usual visa run. Same as will happen at end of December, near Christmas... when she'll likely make a run to Canada.
She thinks she's so much more savvy and clever than anyone watching her. It never crosses her mind that we can look most of these things up online.

As a French Canadian, can you confirm another reaction channel’s opinion that FB’s French is awful for someone who claims to be French and bilingual? I’m too embarrassed to ask my Quebecker cousins because I know they’ll judge me. LOL.

I can't help but to wonder:
Since Salah isn't coming (we knew), will she continue to say that she is "extending her vacation"?
I really believe that she is awaiting permission from the government to return.
Am I wrong to believe that, or am I making stuff up in my brain?
She absolutely is waiting, and it sounds like she has paperwork to submit that she is procrastinating on completing. There's a chance she may need medical clearances (she had to last year when they were in Bangkok) as well that may delay things. She has implied 60 days, Salah said 90 days. Both are likely lies, but we will eventually see the truth!

How can she have a return ticket when she doesn’t even know how long she’ll be there. As she has said multiple times she has no idea when she’ll be going back. Of course we know it’s because it’s a visa run and it’s unsure when she will be approved. So I really don’t know how she could possibly have a return ticket Scheduled LOL

Usually when you travel to a country on a tourist visa (which I’m pretty sure she’d need for Thailand) you’re required to have a return ticket already booked. Most people just change it later.
Maybe Poopy told her there is a return ticket... but there is none
Also can we talk about how all the ppl working at her hotel are SICK NOW bcz she decided to not wash her hands or wear a mask to protect them? They can't sleep whenever they want and seal the rest of the time. They HAVE TO WORK. Prayers for them. Bless their hearts!! Also rumors abound Salah has a real wife, new baby or one on way & a new gf too

The Conjuring thing is just a walkthrough exhibit with places from the movies. Not a haunted house like she seems to think.

She does the same things over and over again.
When she left Peetz (first time) for Bibi she was already moving in clothes, items into Bibis' house, when they broke up she didn't take everything in order to still have a connection/reason to visit him, with Nader she left her cpap, grandmas blanket in order to still have some physical tether (in her mind. She is absolutely insane and a stalker and a danger in every relationship she has, I'm sick of people thinking she's a lost victim of abuse- she isn't. She abuses HERSEF AND OTHERS.
She could've gone to a Thai beach resort for a week, then go back to Canada for the rest of the time she needs to be out of Kuwait. Maybe do some things related to health. Then return when she's allowed, and after another payday or two came around so she could afford the ticket back "home" to her "family".

Not realistic. A non-stop flight from Bangkok to Montreal is 20 hours. She'd die enroute.

The pets are just an excuse. She couldn’t give a fig about them and will dump them the moment she wants to do something.

Didn't she say they were able to cancel Salah's alleged ticket. If I was as miserable at a holiday I would just go back home early. Math is not mathing foodie, lies are not lining up...

People would be so much more understanding if Chantal would just tell the truth up front. "I need to renew my visa and we're a little strapped for cash at the moment. I'm going to travel to a low-cost-of-living country to wait out the paperwork cycle, so I won't be doing anything wild. Hang out and do some low-mobility, low-cost activities with me!" The charade paints her in a much worse light.
On the eyeliner: I think she loses the inner corners when she does her spit-and-tissue trick.
Exactly!! It would have taken her a minute on her first video from Thailand to say that. It explains everything, and there would have never been a need for any lies. EXCEPT she'll never admit it's a visa run because a visa run wouldn't be necessary if they were legally married. And she'll never admit that they're strapped for cash because she has an image to maintain. Being strapped would be something that everyone could understand and empathise with. It's happened to us all. And that's the problem...she doesn't want to be one of us, she has to convince herself (and us) that she's better off than us, more privileged than us.
Did she go there because she wanted to stay high 24/7? Oh and her blood shot eyes, passing out, munchies, slurred speech….are from her allergies, sciatica, virus, lack of sleep…..not because she’s high for her fake religion n fake husband wouldn’t allow this. She just wants the sympathy and for you to keep sending the money!

IMO, he doesn't want to go because he can do very little with her, and he's not OK with the short leash she'd have him on there. She's trying to keep him on a short one remotely, but it gives him more opportunities. And while she likes the freedom to eat, laze, and get high, she's annoyed that he's off enjoying his own freedom.

"Oh, I'm so over Thailand, it's good for people to travel alone, things aren't worth doing without Salah, I'm getting some nice alone time here, I just want to go home, I'm about halfway through my trip." If a truthful person was truthfully on a vacation they desired to go on, then truthfully found it not to their liking after a short time, truthfully they would just cut it short and GO HOME. Does she really think people are so stupid as to not see how ludicrous this all is???

This week I have been in bed with COVID My symptoms have been just like Chantal’s. Kept away from everyone and now almost fully recovered and haven’t gone around contaminating everybody

Shoot Milk Tea my definition of success is 24hr room service. The best trips in my life were just lounging in the Ritz Carlton, Swiss Otels, or the St Francis in San Fran. Of course it was me and my girlfriend but still we only left the room for Sauna /spa time.

She says "we're just gonna beeze until I *can* go home", and then she immediately corrects herself and says, "until it's *time* to go home. Not that we all don't already know that she's on a visa run and isn't allowed back into kuwait for a certain period of time, but I just thought it was funny that she gave herself away yet again! She's such a terrible liar.
Would you consider putting out a video about traveling abroad alone? I'm planning a solo trip and I'm kind of anxious about it. Any tips would be really helpful.
Go for it, it's great fun - the only bummer is going to the toilet with your bags so whenever possible put them in the hold and just enjoy not having to try and squeeze yourself and bags in the loo 😂
People are great enough and so you never miss having people to talk to if you want but peace and alone time if you don't.
If it's your first time, then maybe have an end location in mind and booked with all transport links etc, especially for your arrival.
But it's great fun and enjoyable
Don't forget, we're all jealous of her 😅 my husband took me out for dinner in a movie last night. It's a light day for both of us, so we're gonna go out and have lunch together. I think we will cuddle in bed and watch a movie this evening... But yeah, I'm totally jealous of someone who has a questionable marriage arrangement whose partner has all but abandoned them.

Instead of paying a ton to go to one hotel, she should just go on cruises. You don't have to go far or do much. They have all you can eat. At least when you're in your room you have a great view. There's often cheaper cruises during off seasons.

Also, it's so predictable and funny that she did this as a video because she would never do this as a live because she knew she'd mess up or didn't want to be put on the spot. It's becoming rather boring and tedious at this point with her predictability.
She used to do the liner all the way into the corner of her eye, but it actually looked pretty weird bc of how fat her lids are. If you go back to videos from a year ago, you'll see what I mean, but I just remember it looked really weird and kinda gross toward the corner of her eye. It also might've been partly bc she didn't do a great job tapering the liner to be thinner in that part, but she just has these really fat lids that squeeze together at her inner eye area. I know I'm not making a ton of sense here, and I'm sounding kind of mean, so I'll stop trying to explain now.😂
I was wondering myself how someone can gain so much fat in their eyelids. Sometimes it’s all I can see 😅 I just keep staring at the inner eyelids and ask myself, “how??”

Did she not get angry before she left at people saying her physical condition will make the trip unenjoyable for Salah, and now she's saying Oh, I'm in no condition to travel and, I know it'd hold him back. WTF Chantal, we know what's going to happen before it happens because you and your lies are super predictable at this point
Everyone knew Salah never planned on joining her - just is such a bad liar!
It is obvious that she actually hates traveling. She just wants to be in a room eating, smoking, and sleeping. She has no real interest in exploring new countries and engaging in different cultures. She acts like some experienced world traveler when all she has done is stay in a resort in Cuba and barely leave her room, 'move' to Kuwait and barely leave the apartment, visit Thailand once and do some things because she is forced to do them, but spends most time in the hotel, then return to Thailand - the exact same place and never leave the hotel except to go to 7-11 and the mall. Not exactly great adventures!
A couple years ago I spent just over a month traveling around Europe solo, with a home base at a friend's in London. Every day was busy with exploring the different cities I went to and trying to do as much as possible. I was able to meet up with friends who were also traveling and a niece who was doing a semester in Italy. I love traveling alone, but it is fun to meet up with others. I got a little homesick after the third week, but it wore off after a few days. I cannot image traveling to a new country and just sitting in a hotel the whole time!
All FB does is complain and act sicker than she is for an extended time as an excuse not to do anything... pathetic!

I think she would stay there if Salah came, but he would put a damper on her ability to “breeze”, eat what she wants all day long, get lit every day all day and sit in her stink all day. He would force her to go out and perhaps curtail her food intake. So she may as well be at “home”. She’s using more and more excuses for not going anywhere in order to just lay there. She doesn’t want to move. Period.

There is a museum exhibition of props from the Conjuring movie franchise. That's what she keeps talking about. Not at all scary, just another prepared excuse to not go do something she keeps saying she wants to do.
