Main takeaway from this lecture: "Allah says that there is guidance in the Qur'an for the muttaqeen, which means that the more you increase in taqwa, the more guidance you will find in the Qur'an. In other words, the more you stay away from Haram and doubtful matters, the more your soul will be enlightened with Allah's guidance. Therefore, on your path to understanding the Book of Allah, you need to oblige yourself to stay away from Haram as much as you can, because ONE act of haram might become an obstacle on your path to tafseer, because Allah does not allow the meanings of his ayat to be sent down upon a heart that goes against these very same meanings." Subhanallah!! Barakallahu feek dear Ustadh for this wonderful lecture.
