Good afternoon Anh. Happy Sunday. Thank you for hosting the Hop today. I think that’s a great idea to do the Hop using quarters for your girls. For every $25, I put it in a jar with the category name on it until we complete the challenge then I’ll stuff the money from each category into the same sinking fund in my binders. I’m also going to do the Hop next year. Great rolls.

I wasn't able to keep up with you guys but I do save $18 a week. I do not remember if I started right away or not, but to think that I have saved roughly $600 extra dollars is awesome!
Hi Brandi. You know what matters is starting at all. We got to this point together. Celebrate and be happy with what you have accomplished. Roughly $600 is amazing. I remember there was a time I struggle to even save $100. You are doing great. Happy saving, Brandi.

What do the 25 dollar place holders represent?
Hi. The $25 place holder just account for the money that was saved. I want to keep a running total of what has been saved so I used the placeholder to account for the money I removed.
Example:
I have a goal to save $1000 to pay off my credit card
I have saved up $500 and decide to take the money out and pay a portion early
I use a $500 placeholder to show/account for the $500 I removed
I continue saving the remaining $500 with a reminder that I am half way to the finish line.
I hope this explanation makes sense.
