@@lowhp_comic I'm right there with you! While I prefer the beginning riffs from into Dreams, the entire song from JoD was a wonderful refresh. The rhythm guitar and the breaks in the drums really give an elevated feel to it and make you feel like it's an actual battle!
@@DarkonFullPower Oh yes, iirc this only happened when you played the game on April 1st (April Fool's Day). In Spring Valley, instead of finding NiGHTS, you find Reala. Continue playing and when you get to the level where you normally fight Reala with NiGHTS, it's swapped...so you're Reala battling NiGHTS and this song is playing in the background. I know for sure the swapping also happens on April 1st in Christmas NiGHTS but you're only battling the dragon, I'm not sure if NiGHTS shows up. I haven't played Christmas NiGHTS in ages.

I was referring to Reala being the original Sonic Team-created dark rival to the Hero, NiGHTS, like Shadow was to Sonic, that wasn't a mechanical attempt to capture the Hero's visage and skillset in their creation, like Metal Sonic was. I can see how my comment may be confusing, and I apologize. I'm not changing that comment, though.
the game was rushed. data was found for 2 Secret Fights . one being "Reala Returns" and another "Self" you would collect emblems like chaos emeralds. perhaps this song was intended in there

This is the Sega Saturn's 2 player mode track. Some people don't know that because the 2012 remaster doesn't have the 2 player mode present.
