Dang, their style has changed a lot from where it started. But it's so beautiful now, couldn't help but cry when i heard this.
I got out of the Marine Corps in 2010. I've been fighting PTSD, addiction, alcoholism, depression, suicidal thoughts, the loss of friends - no - brothers. Some to suicide. I feel like it should have been me. I wish I could do more. I should have been there. It's been fucking hell. 4 Years of service and more than 10 years of suffering. I've been hiding behind a fake smile, faking happiness to those around me so they don't ask questions or think I'm crazy. I'm fucking done. I'm 7 days sober, 7 days without nicotine, 7 days without holding back anything, think what you will, I am literally out of fucks to give because tomorrow will be 8 days. I'm telling myself "I believe in you."

Andre Perryman I'm not gonna lie, it's been rough. When you spend a long time walking a dark path is going to be a long walk to get back on the right one. But I've made some big changes. For the better, I think. I've had some deep personal revelations about what I want in and out of my life and I'm working to make it happen. I've slipped up a few times but I know that doesn't mean I've failed. I'm still here. And I'm still standing.

Just heard this for the first time. All I can say is thank you... I needed this, I got hit right in my soul by the lyrics. When I heard this song it was the first time in a long time that I walked down the street without hanging my head down defeated. Lost my son down the Ogden river and now i fear his mom may be lost to the meth pipe. In the hospital and now in the streets for the last 7 months.
