Speaking on 3 RB starts. I got a Hall/Gibbs/Achane BBM team the other night. Definitely going to be the team I have the most fun following over the course of this season. The walking badgeless are definitely among us haha

To your point at 18:23, I think with these extreme WR rooms you’ve been seeing, it sorta balances out. You get Jacob’s 15 picks past ADP but in a room like last year before everyone was just spamming WR for 6 picks in a row, you’d just get Jacob’s at adp and then Pickens down there at 67. So I think all these guys racing for WR and then getting huge rb fallers just sorta balances out. I’d be surprised if one of these rooms has the winning draft.

The other thing about Seattle, they had the fewest plays run and I believe fewest drives in the league last year cause their defense allowed long drives and their offense didn’t stay on the field. Hopefully McDonald won’t play zone all the time like Pete and allow teams to methodically move down the field so that the offense can have more drives plays & fantasy points. Not just an OC change but a DC change could help the offense too. Enjoyed the show

You briefly mentioned that taking 2 QB’s from the same W17 game is a “no-no”. Why is that? Seems reasonable since you’re likely to have plenty of players from both teams if you’re game stacking, why not add on the QB?
You can do it, but it runs into the chance of the game dudding or turns into a run fest.
But then again you have players on both sides probably. So you need that game to go. But sure really. Think it caps potential cieling
having access to two diff game environments when you can only use one is ideal but i don't go out of my way to avoid it

I think if you’re gonna do it from one game, choosing the matchup between the offenses projected to score most and second-most points this season is a good option
@jbphil21 that's what all the dead mahomes/burrows stack told them last year. A lot can happen in course of a year. The only points scored in that game ended up being field goals lmao
Great content as always! Always look forward to Monday long stream… I have a question, how thin is it feasible to go or how critical are the bye weeks and at what point would be unsalvageable? I started with Puka from the 7 spot and then took waddle at pick 18 and Kupp for the rams guys at 31… but then Kyren came back at pick 42 so I figured probably doesn’t happen too often but then I’m sitting with all week 6 bye guys after 4 picks. I’m trying to get my mind in the correct mind frame of how to draft smart, would it have been smarter to bypass Kyren in the middle of the 4th round or? Sorry for the long question I just really want to go into these drafts not feeling defeated if I make a “mistake” or I don’t want to “drop the baby” so to speak. This was a fast draft also so I don’t want to overthink too much also by the time my next pick comes around haha. Thank you again!
The good news is not many teams have week 6 byes, so you could make sure all your other wr/rbs aren’t week 6 byes and you’ll be just fine. Much more difficult for week 14 for example.
i don't know what the exact number is but i think your instincts are right to not overload. i don't mind the start but id avoid mostly rest of the way
Whenever I’m trying to make a save on that week, 14 quarterback dilemma, I never use Jones as my third QB because he might not be playing week 14
he's a great 3qb for that reason, i avoid him in 2qb

I still think you can't throw out mims' college profile after a shakey year one when the HC also getting draft positioning. Mims is more than a deep threat, his speed and intermediate route game hazily reminded me of brandin cooks coming out. I still like franklin as well but he's more of a level 3 winner at the moment relying on speed like a ted guinn/will fuller type.

I have tried to get in a sprint draft for 2 weeks now can't get 1 going and don't want to do any slow drafts those are terribly not fun. At 1 point the Sprint ADP was messed up Barkley was at 5 and Lamar was QB1 at 28 but couldn't capitlize.

I am guessing I am going to be the only one listening to Sirius XM at 8 PM ET tonight for the SFGA Champions league draft. They have 14 of the biggest "experts" of the industry. They have drafts all week there are a bunch of drafts and leagues they play them out and if you finish in the bottom few spots in the Champions league they kick you out and the winner of some of the other leagues gets into the Champions league. Pretty cool I wonder how you can get in there Pete it should be hard I mean 1 of the "experts" last year drafted and never put in a lineup and scored 0 pts all year and he is back again this year.

@@PeterOverzet RB hungry they were. Hall went 2, Bijan 4, Barkley 9, ETN 16, Josh Jacobs 19 (Not 67!). They hated rookie WR's Harrison 24, Nabers 56, Worthy 104, Brian Thomas 136. Meanwhile DK Metcalf 18, Diontae Johnson 47. If only we could play these guys for the big money in leagues!
