This video will give you the tools and insight to begin "eye-balling" colors on midsoles for restorations, or just the perfect color for your dope customs! This can be applied to Jacquard or other paints as well, but today we're using Angelus as it's most common! It still can take some work, bu hopefully this video helps lessen the headache!

Dyes are very hard or almost impossible to mix as they all look very dark. THe only way to mix and test is if you have several suede/nubuck shoes to test it on :(

No doubt! From memory (a few years ago), I think I started with a champagne and added silver to get that fleck (sparkle), I know there was probably a bit more to it but I know that's at least a starting point!
Any kind sole can help to share the mix for Vans Maroon Shoe? I've mixed blue to red, green to red and black to red, with real success as they all ended up too dark. Any advice will be greatly greatly appreciated

Good video bro! I have a question. Can I mix 2 Angelus suede dye? I'm using red and dark red suede dye to get vibrant dark red for 2009 Raging bulls Jordan 5s.
Mixing dyes is very difficult as you have no idea what color you're making until you put it on a fabric or suede.
Very helpful vid bro. Quick question, I cleaned my cool grey 11s which turned my suede to darkish brown grey. Any tips on how to restore them to factory cool grey? Thx ✌🏾
Use mink oil in the spray can and a suede brush once it dries. That should do the trick

Hey, I know this video is old but it gave me some good advice. But now to my case: I have the air Jordan 1 sb LA to Chicago and I fully scratched off the LA color way. I bet the shit out of the Chicagos so now I want to repaint them to a true Chicago. But I have a hard time finding the color and I only have normal red and black. Do you think I can mix it to the Chicago or do I have to buy more colors?
You'll definitely need a few more colors as black is going to make your red very 'muddy'

hello, i want to turn the mid 2020 chicago into the hi chicago colorway. the only difference is the back which is white instead of red. the box says "gym red" but i compared it to my gym red 12 alternates and the colorway on the one is definitely darker. would you be able to help me out and tell me which angelus red, or mixture of reds, i should get cause i cant really afford to pay the $1,900 the his cost in my size on stockx. please get back to me at your earliest convenience. thank you for your time and help.

I'm doing a custom pair of fearless 1 patents. (Chicago/high gloss) it's called varsity red on label... but i saw dude mix fire red and varsity which matched perfect. Ima def buy a wheel and mad paint. Any advice about deglazing the front end, or should I leave as is? I'm not matting em out, just trying to match color and gloss... let me know what u think
Hey man, if you're going to be painting them, you'll definitely need to prep that material which would include acetone, sanding, and adhesion promoter (similar to our scratch resistant sealer tutorial steps), except you'll want to finish with a gloss to match! Best of luck!

Unfortunately it'd be almost impossible to match that color exactly from a picture. I'd just review the color matching video a bit and start mixing!
