I know you've probably already started, but I would love to watch the tear down process. Either as a time lapse or a stream. And also when you decide to come back to it, I would absolutely watch the build all over again. ❤
If you need extra display space for RD, please feel free to send the set to me and I'll display it on your behalf. Thanks in advance!
lol it would probably cost me as much to ship you the set as it would to buy it new 😂
It is a shame to take apart, especially such an epic set that takes forever to put together...but I feel the same as you, the beauty of Lego is having the ability to always rebuild! I love that you will be keeping the figs displayed!! Thanks for the update, keeping it real 💯and good luck parting everything out. 🔥🔥
It is, but also now I can look forward to building it again someday! Which means more bang for the buck! And when I get around to building it again, it will be a while and feel fresh again! Thanks for watching friend!
Yes, I love that and agree with you! I have also done this with some of my sets too...Soon enough I'll be breaking down my UCS AT-AT. Not only does it help with storage, but it makes revisiting a build later on more fun :) I've enjoyed following you JJJ and appreciate your insight!! @@JJJBricks
We still have all the excited-Jim sounds in the vods from building Rivendell, and for that, this set has served its initial purpose.
What are the brackets holding up the hanging shelves? I’ve been looking for something like that.
My wife actually measured for the space and ordered them from a guy on Etsy who makes stuff like this! I would have to find his info if you’d like!
Its a pity you have to do this, but I guess it was always going to happen with the smaller space. Can happen with any space after all :D .
Off topic, but did you get the space promo?
lol true true! I did not get the space promo. Honestly the next purchase for me at a high enough threshold will be Medieval Town Square
The vignette sounds like a good plan. I know how you feel about parting out such a gorgeous set.
Thanks Jude! Yeah its a bummer, but I already have a great idea for how so many of those beautiful parts will be put to use in a future MOC's! More on that coming soon!
over time, my favorite sets have been the ones that can be hung on the wall. recently i find that nearly every lego purchase means i have to buy a new shelf
🥵 so many shelves 🥵 wall hanging is pretty clutch. Unfortunately not many sets I enjoy are really wall mount friendly
Such a shame! I'd just buy next door and build an extension. But I suppose sometimes that's not possible.
Yeah.. but this certainly isn’t the final iteration of our Lego room experience. The future has more space to hold!
It’s fine, it’s obviously only going away until June and then there will be a crazy Barad Dur vs Rivendell diorama in the studio.. 😃
😂
Thanks for taking us along this journey with you! Definitely appreciated you sharing your deliberation regarding utilizing space efficiently while continuing to pursue your love of Lego!
Thanks for watching Chew 😊🥰
