Wow, Jerika, this is truly speaking to me. I overthink SOOOOO much, but it is extremely paralyzing because I end up doing nothing.

Great thumbnail. We can easily get into the Over Analysis Paralysis head space which stagnates our progress. Just starting is the key and always always take a step back to appreciate what one has created.

I SO needed this today! I'm in the process of launching my soap business and have been knee deep in all the admin and behind the scenes stuff. I have 6 years of soap making under my belt, and sold while living overseas, but am trying to make sure I set myself up well as I get established here. It's SO many decisions and things to work through that it feels daunting. I needed the reminder to step back and celebrate the small things, the small steps, and that it's okay to go step by step. Thanks!

Hi Jerika I just wanted to say from an outside perspective that this is new direction of more natural products with less colour and business seems to be so in tune with who you are as a person and even the beautiful natural surroundings of your new home. It just feels so harmonious and in tune. Maybe Quench Bear could become Quench Bare (bare skin natural vibes) Lots of love to you all!

Hi ... I make cp soap from all natural colorants and essential oils. My BIGGEST REQUEST by far is adding a pop of color (mica) and seasonal fragrance oils. 😢 My all-naturals just sit while the rest sell out at every event. So ... I've learned to make what people will actually buy if I intend to stay in business. Do you have the same type of market experience with all-naturals?

Hi Jerika. I'm wondering what you're using for the piping on your bath bomb. My piping always seems to get crumbly after a week or so. Can you please recommend a recipe? Also, are you planning to attend the Conference in Halifax this year? Thank you for all you do to inspire us!

That's what I love, LATHER! I tried a soapmaking kit to get a feel for soapmaking before going all in. I truly loved it, but with melt and pour, it was kinda drying and didn't lather much (IMO) I would love to learn to make and/or formulate and make soap that smells really good, is moisturizing, and creates a nice lather. One day!

On the alkanet root, did you infuse it in oil? That’s the only way I’ve used it and I got a nice purple (in soap, not icing).

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but, you can Frost the indent and then put your bath bomb just in a paper cupcake holder and that will prevent it from rolling around

I think you've outgrown your old branding... your esthetic now is more artistic and has matured. I see the shift in your filming style too. May be time for a brand makeover and to charge more for the artistic aspect. People do pay for artistic work.
Maybe start a second brand for now (so you don't sacrifice income) and gradually move towards the more artistic, feminine brand? Just an idea. I'd work with a good brand designer if it's in the budget. They will assist in targeting the customers best suited to the new vibe you have going.

Thank you so much for everything you do, Jerika! 🥹 Sometimes when watching more established businesses / accounts for inspiration, it ends up feeling very intimidating and it all feels so out of reach. But there’s something about your videos that has always served as inspiration and feels so encouraging - so thank you for your authenticity and generosity in sharing ❤️
