Loved the video. If people can’t figure out the negative aspect of living in a hilltop tourist Italian town from your everyday videos then they are blind. The steps, tons of tourist, traffic, the expanse of getting things delivered , how the town shuts down in winter, etc. you do a great job depicting life in Positano. I look forward to your videos.
I would definitely appreciate hearing about some of the more negative aspects of living in Positano. I guess I’m just not a “hide my head in the sand” kind of person. Having visited the Amalfi coast several times, we’ve always chosen to stay in Ravello and visit Positano on day trips because of how crowded it can get. We enjoy the hustle and bustle for a few hours but appreciate the peace of Ravello in the evenings. That being said, I very much appreciated your comment on the increase in traffic between the two towns - which some might consider “negative”. For me it was just another helpful fact to consider when planning our next trip. Thanks for your wonderful videos which strike just the right balance between pure escapism and practical information.

I would love to see the negative aspects to living in positano. Also, curious when the elderly can’t walk up and down the steps, what do they do? How do they get to the doctor? Where is the nearest hospital? Etc. Nicki, your channel is our absolute favorite! My husband and I love sitting down with a glass of wine in the evenings and watch your latest videos. I think it's obvious that life in Positano can be difficult and it is definitely a tale of two cities. I think you show how the normal people live and work on a daily basis; without the glamour. Some parts look rundown but this to me; adds to the aesthetics of a place. Same as anywhere in the world. In England there are rich and poor living side by side, street by street with many wonderful stories. I'm lucky that I was blessed with an optimistic and happy disposition; so I see wonder everywhere. Positive or negative are really just opinions based on ideals. Good afternoon. It is 5° C and there is forecast for rain and snow mix showers. But this too shall pass. There is a difference to be sure in weather in Positano. How lovely it would be if we could just blink and be where we wanted to be for the time we wanted to be there. Life is not like that! Travel is fairly complicated! It does appear that you are both really enjoying things in your life. That makes me happy. That's nice! There are so many millions of people in our world who do not have that advantage presently! Great look Carlo! Your parents location is really interesting. To see all that scenery & over the railing, get to witness people making the biggest blessings of their lives (hopefully not their biggest mistake). I love the drone series of beautiful vistas of land and sea. Good eye, Carlo ! I thought my husband was going to fall in the floor laughing so hard when you were trying to get a cell phone signal - he has watched me throw fits over cell phone issues - where I live in Texas has me places with no signals - 3 to be exact in our 15 mile drive to “town” (Paris, Texas)- i hate when they want you to prove you are you!! Yes I want to see the reality of living in Positano. If anything it will make me feel better. 😆 this is your channel and people should know nowhere is perfect. These are probably things I’ve wondered about already like the stairs and internet connectivity. You do a great job with this channel. I enjoy it so much. People who are complaining that the content is not what they like should get a life of their own or move to Positano and make their own videos the way they like.
Some of my fondest memories of the area were stopping a shop attached to house and an agriturismo, so my vote is outside Positano (lovely it is). Be you Nicki, if someone thinks just because you live in someplace beautiful that every moment is beautiful they have been reading too many Disney books!
I had lived in rural country part in China as a kid, then moved to NYC as a teen, also had lived in suburban areas of the US … There are always pros and cons in living every part of the world, Positano is no doubt one of the most beautiful places on earth, there are many inconvenient ways and times living there, any reasonable person can see that. We appreciate Nicki and Carlo showing us what the everyday real life is like there.
Love you two! Carlos looks great as a “Man in black”! The wedding site/flower preparations, and stunning views are so beautiful- I feel transported to beautiful Italy Personally, I’d like to know about the negatives of living in Positano. The stairs are obvious- but certainly great cardio-for me, I’d certainly require such a “commute” to manage my weight given all the delicious food! I don’t think being aware of the downside in any way distorts what is good/great. Just gives a balanced perspective God bless you both-you’re fabulous!

OMG, I love NYC, but there's plenty I hate about it, too. Even so, I can't think of any place I'd rather call home. Negative rants are HEALTHY, as long as they don't consume us. As humans, we need to vent. Please, make a negative video. Please, scream as loud as you can. It would be so much FUN, because diversity of feeling is THE SPICE OF LIFE. I loved this video. I didn't want it to end. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the drone footage. Loved the editing. Loved the music. Loved, loved, loved the colors of May. Please shoot more of May's colors. Loved the compositions, especially Nicki on the swing. Loved seeing the beautiful Skye. The black pants, white top, and blue over-shirt looked fabulous on both women. IMO, wearing white for a make-artist is the ONLY choice, because white fabric throws fill light back onto the model's face. White fill light is flattering for everyone. So sorry your cell signal sucks. The truth is, online commerce is getting more and more fraudulent. The CODE calls are there for your security. Sadly, if the internet and cell phone are down, for whatever reason, you can be stuck. That is why I haven't given up my landline. Please, show us everything the tourists don't see. There is such a thing as "toxic positivity" so don't sweat the bad stuff. I actually love the real feel of your videos. I stopped watching some content providers because they made their life look too rosy which was either shallow or made me feel like my life was dull and sad. You can't please everyone I suppose. Some people want a pure escape. Some, like me, find that tiresome. Besides, even the "negative" snippets in your videos are pretty tame. I mean, it's not like you're unburdening yourself on us. I would definitely appreciate hearing about some of the more negative aspects of living in Positano. I guess I’m just not a “hide my head in the sand” kind of person. Having visited the Amalfi coast several times, we’ve always chosen to stay in Ravello and visit Positano on day trips because of how crowded it can get. We enjoy the hustle and bustle for a few hours but appreciate the peace of Ravello in the evenings. That being said, I very much appreciated your comment on the increase in traffic between the two towns - which some might consider “negative”. For me it was just another helpful fact to consider when planning our next trip. Thanks for your wonderful videos which strike just the right balance between pure escapism and practical information.

I would love to see the negative aspects to living in positano. Also, curious when the elderly can’t walk up and down the steps, what do they do? How do they get to the doctor? Where is the nearest hospital? Etc.

I think it's obvious that life in Positano can be difficult and it is definitely a tale of two cities. I think you show how the normal people live and work on a daily basis; without the glamour. Some parts look rundown but this to me; adds to the aesthetics of a place. Same as anywhere in the world. In England there are rich and poor living side by side, street by street
with many wonderful stories. I'm lucky that I was blessed with an optimistic and happy disposition; so I see wonder everywhere. Positive or negative are really just opinions based on ideals. Positano is alive and kicking in all its guises. Keep up the great work 🐕🐱👒☀️🌹✨🌻🍓🍰🌟🎺👑🕺💃⛵🌟

Good afternoon. It is 5° C and there is forecast for rain and snow mix showers. But this too shall pass. There is a difference to be sure in weather in Positano. How lovely it would be if we could just blink and be where we wanted to be for the time we wanted to be there. Life is not like that! Travel is fairly complicated! It does appear that you are both really enjoying things in your life. That makes me happy. That's nice! There are so many millions of people in our world who do not have that advantage presently! Great look Carlo! Your parents location is really interesting. To see all that scenery & over the railing, get to witness people making the biggest blessings of their lives (hopefully not their biggest mistake). I love the drone series of beautiful vistas of land and sea. Good eye, Carlo ! Honestly with all the evil that is showing up in our worldly culture, we don't need to hear negativity from this sweet spot! Depression feeds on negativity! I thought my husband was going to fall in the floor laughing so hard when you were trying to get a cell phone signal - he has watched me throw fits over cell phone issues - where I live in Texas has me places with no signals - 3 to be exact in our 15 mile drive to “town” (Paris, Texas)- i hate when they want you to prove you are you!!

Yes I want to see the reality of living in Positano. If anything it will make me feel better. 😆 this is your channel and people should know nowhere is perfect. These are probably things I’ve wondered about already like the stairs and internet connectivity. You do a great job with this channel. I enjoy it so much. People who are complaining that the content is not what they like should get a life of their own or move to Positano and make their own videos the way they like.
Some of my fondest memories of the area were stopping a shop attached to house and an agriturismo, so my vote is outside Positano (lovely it is).
Be you Nicki, if someone thinks just because you live in someplace beautiful that every moment is beautiful they have been reading too many Disney books!
I had lived in rural country part in China as a kid, then moved to NYC as a teen, also had lived in suburban areas of the US … There are always pros and cons in living every part of the world, Positano is no doubt one of the most beautiful places on earth, there are many inconvenient ways and times living there, any reasonable person can see that. We appreciate Nicki and Carlo showing us what the everyday real life is like there.

Personally, I’d like to know about the negatives of living in Positano. The stairs are obvious- but certainly great cardio-for me, I’d certainly require such a “commute” to manage my weight given all the delicious food! I don’t think being aware of the downside in any way distorts what is good/great. Just gives a balanced perspective God bless you both-you’re fabulous!

OMG, I love NYC, but there's plenty I hate about it, too. Even so, I can't think of any place I'd rather call home. Negative rants are HEALTHY, as long as they don't consume us. As humans, we need to vent. Please, make a negative video. Please, scream as loud as you can. It would be so much FUN, because diversity of feeling is THE SPICE OF LIFE. I loved this video. I didn't want it to end. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the drone footage. Loved the editing. Loved the music. Loved, loved, loved the colors of May. Please shoot more of May's colors. Loved the compositions, especially Nicki on the swing. Loved seeing the beautiful Skye. The black pants, white top, and blue over-shirt looked fabulous on both women. IMO, wearing white for a make-artist is the ONLY choice, because white fabric throws fill light back onto the model's face. White fill light is flattering for everyone. So sorry your cell signal sucks. The truth is, online commerce is getting more and more fraudulent. The CODE calls are there for your security. Sadly, if the internet and cell phone are down, for whatever reason, you can be stuck. That is why I haven't given up my landline. Please, show us everything the tourists don't see. There is such a thing as "toxic positivity" so don't sweat the bad stuff. I actually love the real feel of your videos. I stopped watching some content providers because they made their life look too rosy which was either shallow or made me feel like my life was dull and sad. You can't please everyone I suppose. Some people want a pure escape. Some, like me, find that tiresome. Besides, even the "negative" snippets in your videos are pretty tame. I mean, it's not like you're unburdening yourself on us. In fact, I watch you primarily because your family is so likeable, interesting, and are real and secondly because you live in Positano. Even if you all had an RV channel, instead of a Positano channel, and just travelled around, I'd watch that too because I just enjoy watching the things your family does.

a great idea to make video on places visitors do not know about. please no negatives about visiting Positano- let visitors find their own negatives. when travelling to new places there aren't negatives, it is wonderful to see how the other countries do things ❤
Of course there are negative things to everything, it's part of life and helps us to appreciate the beautiful and positive things. You can not have the good without the bad, so bring it on. unbelievable that people have to get on your case - you are so right .. real life.. and you are real people.. not celebrities living on millions. people need to get a grip and you need to not take it to heart or head. Why i love you guys IS reality, real life in what most people see as a dream (living in a place like Positano or Italy). Real people know there are a lot of downsides to the beauty anywhere.. high taxes, high costs, the stairs, finding a good job etc. KEEP on doing what you do!
