I remember growing up watching the series coming from Sacramento CA myself the change in the last 40 years is phenomenal we are a big city with big city problems
Holy ...your right. !! Lets see. the Cars started to get noticed in 77. and by 78.. 79 were big. When was this filmed? I wonder if its really him singing here. He was so flippin Hot. Omgosh.
Let's be FRANK! yaaaaah ....Take your chance with me! Let me say, thaaaayy-ay-anks! Ralph's groovin' to that ditty...🤣'Bout time...Let me take this op-or-tun-ity! Willie's got it going on here....Sorry, Ralphie
Grant Goodeve was always a bit jealous that the show didn't really delve too deep into his music career, which he had in real life. Willie Aames merely lip synced with his fake oversized front teeth. Early veneers tended to look like Chicklets!
Aames was a stud back then. He could rock and act. Handsome as hell, and hot muscles.

Killer late 70's pop rock. Loved this show growing up.
Surprised the second song remained with the TV show. Tommy's band sounds like the Cars and the Police had a baby.
Those tv shows back in the 70's blew my mind!!!!!!
The name of that song must be On And On!!!!
And On and on...
Haha u think ?? Haha
Did Stephen Bishop get his royalties?
Wow, I didn't know Willie Aames was in The Cars!
Charlotte Tan I thought the same thing Trippy

Now that the two main singers are gone, he could get a job and reform the band!
@@shaharazon2449 The group was on American Bandstand so I am pretty sure he was singing
That is so aweome, brought back memories!
Sounds a lot like 'Loverboy'. Has a great sound really, Willie Aames has a great singing voice.
The Cars “light”.
Or Rick Springfield "bad".
Bring out Elizabeth on that clip she's Stacked
Yeah, sing it Bibleman!
@QBCNetwork Exactly why I saved all these years and posted it. So glad to hear you enjoyed
March 1981
I had a Crush on Tommy.
Even today ?
Remember when Tommy got an audition for a session guitarist gig at a record company and the pros also auditioning shredded his confidence
These clips can be found are "The Way We Were" & "The Best Little Telethon In Sacramento".
Is it me or did that song seem to go on and on?
Totally 🤣 they’re still playing it !!
It did
Only here for Ralph, of course! Thank you for sharing!
They were all great.
That beautiful girl giggling in the beginning could be Michelle Greene of L. A. Law 1986.

The cars should've covered this.
and one day, He would be a Cruise Director and the band would let him play / sing again!!!
Well he is a better singer then Scott baio. His band isnt that bad
2nd song is wonderful
Bibleman rocks.......
Any one know name of song he sang with holly
Il batterista del secondo brano ''what we gonna do'' e' forse Dave Grahl dei ''foo fighters''?
Does anyone know what episode and/or season this was from?
Michele Greene(of L.A. Law fame) plays Tommy's girlfriend in the first clip
I thought so, I’m streaming season one now, 1986, Mike Post music
Was Tommy Bradford the spawn of Peter Frampton and Rick Occasek?
Sounds like Ric Ocazac of the Cars
Hank the Ranger.
Why does the girl at the 0;02 mark have a huge band aid on the back of her head?
Looks like an effort to get a music career started for Willie/Tommy.
Post Power-Pop, thanks for the reply. :-)
Power Pop- this must've been 1978/79?
1981
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Look at those clothes!
Classic retro TV, a slumping karate kid, a Cars ripoff cover band and all those Hollywood paychecks gone decades later
I wrote this 3 years ago and still holds true. I'm Nostradamus!
He thought he was Ben Orr of The Cars
That's the shiftiest music I've ever heard.
He reminds me of Andy Gibb!
I have a feeling that was intentional.

Interesting 🤔
Horse teeth ?

JAWS🦈
tommy was cute and he is still hot even as an old man.
Wow! A bad Rick Springfield was on "Eight is Enough"?
😂😂😂😂
Cars ripoff...regardless I loved the Karate kid not caring about this garage band in the beginning
I’m glad the Karate Kid was offended
Horrible acting....all around...and directing
