Made a mistake similar to this the other day actually but completely unintentionally. I posted a TH-cam video for my business' product video (I even declared it contained an 'endorsement') and it got flagged and I got a strike already on my brand's TH-cam account. Google LOVES to make examples out of people. I got disabled for a creative little trick I found in AdWords, was making few thousand conversions per month, then was "disabled for enabling dishonest behavior", even though now, everyone in my niche uses that same strategy and probably killing it.. Hopefully they'll find out sooner or later that if they heavily depend on AdWords, they are jeopardizing their business. Fortunately for me, I was already messing with SEO, and as soon as I was disabled once, I decided not to use AdWords anymore, and have been working on my links and rankings, I must say, it takes time and effort, but is DEFINITELY worth it. The traffic from SEO is not "free", there is a lot of up-front investing both in time and money, and the results are not instant like with AdWords, but it's definitely been great to see the increase in first time customers over time. For scale, I was getting around 100-120 first time orders each week, then when AdWords dropped, I literally had about 6 first time orders the first week, which were ALL visitors who had been converted through AdWords, just purchased later. However, as I started building links, improving my SEO, etc, I've gone up to 15 first time orders this week. One final note: AdWords really makes you turn a blind eye to a lot of key factors in the success of your business, like my on-site SEO was absolutely trash, my CTR was under 1% when I started, and I hadn't even thought of things like my basket size, and repeat orders (not totally SEO related or AdWords fault, you kinda disregard important things), even my product descriptions were very poor and I didn't even care because I was still getting orders. Once I realized all these things, fixing descriptions, tags, images, and some email marketing, over the last month and a half, my average order size has increased by 28%, and my repeat orders have gone up by... 58%... even though I get about 20-30% of the traffic I used to get from AdWords! Keep going my friends, you can ALL get there!

As long as you have permission from the other sites to put their content onto an RSS feed on your site, then you're fine. I'm not totally sure! I would think as long as your have permission from the sites you're using, you'd be fine.

That is what people do - they share what already does not work. And when thousands of people are given the same advice, it is not unique anymore, and creates more competition in already competitive place. But it is good to watch for inspiration , to keep in mind that you need to be ahead of the crowd.

I have been top ranked in door to door sales for this state's roofing market all year. Hello, I found a domain with some good metrics and I'm considering to start my online store using it. In the past there were 2 stores on it, all of them related to my niche. Is it a good idea?
My client is building a 25,000 square foot showroom for home improvement contractors ... plumber ... electrician ... tree service ... solar energy ... room additions ... etc. There will be a total of 30 to 40 tenants plus a mega kitchen and bath showroom. I will build a website for the business with a page to promote each tenant. With the intent to get a top ranking in Google local listings for each service category. It will take about 9 months for the building to be ready. I want to start building out the website now using generic location-based names for the different tenants (Tampa Plumber ... Tampa Painter ... etc.) ... I will have a unique local phone number for each business category ... and a separate suite number. I want to get this built out and use the leads generated as leverage to get tenants signed up while we do the buildout. Will these work? Will Google slap us because we have only generic business names? (We can set up a marketing LLC for each generic business if that will help legitimize us with Google.) While the construction is going on I would like to use our construction office as the address since we can't receive mail at the building until the construction is done...will this be possible or will Google reject 40 businesses operating out of a small office? Any suggestions you can make will be VERY much appreciated. Once this prototype is operating my client plans to expand this concept nationwide with 500 or more locations eventually....so I am looking at a huge amount of work potentially.
I wouldn't set up businesses for each generic name. Instead, just focus on creating content (blogging) about all of those different areas (plumbing, painting, etc) -- how-to content -- and optimize your site for local SEO.

Hey Neil, my personal facebook account was banned/deactivated after a while i promoted my products. I still have other ad accounts to advertise in the future but in the moment i first wanna try to learn other methods i can leverage the business that was banned by now... My final question is what things i have to avoid on my future salespages, to get banned by facebook again and especially what i can do that nothing like this happens to this page with google ads... I would also love if you would give me some tips on how i could get facebook to unban my personal facebook account again. (From the beginning on, i received just one message... That i my business doesn´t comply to facebooks ads polices, that they don´t support my business model and they immediately told me that there is no action they could take to reactivate my account) Part of the reason might be that i actally used my "personal account" to advertise and that i didn´t really read the FB ads policy at this time and i was not aware about the face that facebook actually bans accounts. Hey Julian, I'm sorry to hear about your Facebook banning. That's rough. My advice is to start over with a new page, then create a business page. Use organic methods at first. Don't advertise or promote your products at all -- just focus on providing value. Then test a small ad budget. I wish you the best of luck!

Tamal Plays if you want to use those apps first you need to be an expert on seo then yes worth using automatic link buildings app with knowledge. Dont try them without proxy on any of your main domains.

But what if you want to create a series of posts like "Best X of 2018" and then "Best X of 2019" and then 2020 for the year after? Each would obviously be unique as you wouldn't be writing about the same items or whatever. Do you still have to update the 2018 version or can you just freely make another one for the 2019 and so on?

I don't think you'll get banned from Google but it probably won't help you that much, especially if the links and old site aren't relevant to what you are doing.
Hi Neil, My competitor has 4 websites in serps for the same search terms & locations. Only 1 of them has the real business name but the whois info tells all. They all link to each other & have 100's of doorway pages so rank 1st for tons of locations. I've reported to google but they've done nothing so far. They have even used this to have multiple GMB pages which are being run from virtual office addresses but google have left most in place.
Yes we have started using the same tactic as them and rank in the top 3 again but still we battle competition with multiple websites. Thanks for your advice.
Karl Anders its a trick you can try the same thing, please use moz and count their backlinks, might they are doing black hat on their websites and giving juice to the main website, so it would be a bit difficult to bit them...

My client is building a 25,000 square foot showroom for home improvement contractors ... plumber ... electrician ... tree service ... solar energy ... room additions ... etc. There will be a total of 30 to 40 tenants plus a mega kitchen and bath showroom. I will build a website for the business with a page to promote each tenant. With the intent to get a top ranking in Google local listings for each service category.
It will take about 9 months for the building to be ready. I want to start building out the website now using generic location-based names for the different tenants (Tampa Plumber ... Tampa Painter ... etc.) ... I will have a unique local phone number for each business category ... and a separate suite number. I want to get this built out and use the leads generated as leverage to get tenants signed up while we do the buildout.
Will these work? Will Google slap us because we have only generic business names? (We can set up a marketing LLC for each generic business if that will help legitimize us with Google.) While the construction is going on I would like to use our construction office as the address since we can't receive mail at the building until the construction is done...will this be possible or will Google reject 40 businesses operating out of a small office?
Any suggestions you can make will be VERY much appreciated. Once this prototype is operating my client plans to expand this concept nationwide with 500 or more locations eventually....so I am looking at a huge amount of work potentially.
I wouldn't set up businesses for each generic name. Instead, just focus on creating content (blogging) about all of those different areas (plumbing, painting, etc) -- how-to content -- and optimize your site for local SEO.

Hey Neil, my personal facebook account was banned/deactivated after a while i promoted my products. I still have other ad accounts to advertise in the future but in the moment i first wanna try to learn other methods i can leverage the business that was banned by now...
My final question is what things i have to avoid on my future salespages, to get banned by facebook again and especially what i can do that nothing like this happens to this page with google ads...
I would also love if you would give me some tips on how i could get facebook to unban my personal facebook account again. (From the beginning on, i received just one message... That i my business doesn´t comply to facebooks ads polices, that they don´t support my business model and they immediately told me that there is no action they could take to reactivate my account) Part of the reason might be that i actally used my "personal account" to advertise and that i didn´t really read the FB ads policy at this time and i was not aware about the face that facebook actually bans accounts.
After reading their policies, i became aware of that one of my (unpaid posts) really offended really multiple of their sensitive policy terms but i have the feeling they won´t take much effort to change their mind unless the fact that i actually spend quite some money there...
I actually just don´t wanna mess up at any point for being that short sighted, not reading the policy of any ad company and i would appreciate some tips that should be avoided on my landing page (shopify store, clickfunnel blog etc.) that this won´t happen again.

Hey Julian, I'm sorry to hear about your Facebook banning. That's rough. My advice is to start over with a new page, then create a business page. Use organic methods at first. Don't advertise or promote your products at all -- just focus on providing value. Then test a small ad budget. I wish you the best of luck!

Could you imagine that facebook watches my account in the moment, so your suggestion is basically wo make weed grow over the situation?? ^^ :-O... I will keep the site... i have wrote to some good pages for traffic and asked them for promotion in return for some special work from me ;-P... I also started out with google ads now...

But what if you want to create a series of posts like "Best X of 2018" and then "Best X of 2019" and then 2020 for the year after? Each would obviously be unique as you wouldn't be writing about the same items or whatever. Do you still have to update the 2018 version or can you just freely make another one for the 2019 and so on?
You can keep the first one and then update it for the new year. This way you are building on to an existing article. "Best X: Updated for 2019"

I don't think you'll get banned from Google but it probably won't help you that much, especially if the links and old site aren't relevant to what you are doing.

I don't suggest using those. They're typically low quality backlinks and can hurt your sites SEO.

Hi Neil, My competitor has 4 websites in serps for the same search terms & locations. Only 1 of them has the real business name but the whois info tells all. They all link to each other & have 100's of doorway pages so rank 1st for tons of locations. I've reported to google but they've done nothing so far. They have even used this to have multiple GMB pages which are being run from virtual office addresses but google have left most in place.
If Google isn't going to do anything about it then you need to focus on ranking for those keywords.
Yes we have started using the same tactic as them and rank in the top 3 again but still we battle competition with multiple websites. Thanks for your advice.
Karl Anders its a trick you can try the same thing, please use moz and count their backlinks, might they are doing black hat on their websites and giving juice to the main website, so it would be a bit difficult to bit them...
