He was on a Japanese tv show few days ago, I was surprised by how humble, kind, genuine and funny person he is. His brother and family prank him all the time coz he screams unnecessarily loud every time someone surprise him. Also people around him said that he is shy, humble and kind, and everyone loves him. He married with his high school classmates after dating with her for 7 years, and has 3 kids, he loves his family so much. He’s just amazing as a person as well.

Nah, Crawford and Canelo is way way better. Even Top Rank p4p list acknowledges that. Heck even Taylor is undisputed right now with better opposition than Inoue. Inoue fights in a dwarf division and still holds a 38 year old Donaire as his best win🤦. Frampton, Rigo, Walters and Magdaleno destroyed 33-35 year old Donaire much easier than Inoue did🤦 Instead of capitalizing that win, Inoue fought two contenders instead of world champs in a span of year.

He is the quintessential quiet guy. 😂 Showed zero emotion when it happened, showed zero emotion in the ring. Once the match began, he had some extra snap behind those shots, as the script says, but I don’t think he intended to punish him. Sure, he knocked him out, but that’s not how I would go about it if I intended to punish someone for disrespect.
I would play with my food, toy with him, stretch it out for the entirety of the match, all rounds. Hitting him hard, but not hard enough to knock him out or even put him on the mat. His face would be unrecognizable, his body bruised. If he made it to the end, I’d bow to him and his team, hug him tightly and verbally forgive him and his team only because he went the distance, didn’t quit on the stool and therefore restoring the honor of his trainer and team. Since Inoue didn’t do that, he was either not mad at all, or he spared him.

Exactly! And people are clowning him saying "An old Donaire gave him problems," noooo, that's a future HOF legend who gave him problems. It's similar to Pacquiao still giving guys like Thurman & likely will give Spence some problems, they're all good fighters but Pacquiao is a legend. Inoue won that Donaire fight pretty decisively imo, he took some damage but he was a clear cut winner.

@George Ross Yes! Yes! Yes! That lame ref robbed Inoue. If you look at the replay, the ref actually counted him out, then let up again! I was pleased to hear them acknowledge that in the video presentation. Nobody in boxing gets the breaks Donaire gets. He shouldn't have even been in the WBSS, since he had been fighting at featherweight for the last few years and losing to the younger hotshots in that division. And when he did drop back down to bantam he got beat by Rigondeaux. Plus he had a cakewalk in the WBSS because in the first fight the opponent somehow tore a ligament in his hip and couldn't continue, and then he fought a guy called in on 3 days notice when Zolani Tete pulled out. Nevertheless, the Donaire fight was a blessing for Inoue's career in more ways than one.

After reading all these articles on this guy. Now I understand how his punches are so powerful. Bruce Lee used to say its not so much how hard u punch but how fast u throw the punch that causes so much damage. In this video Bradley said "Pacquiao was the only fighter that he could hear the punches as the flew past" his head. This is why Naoya has so much power. He has FREAKISH hand speed. His punch is like a rocket hitting you!
