Wasn't that a bad ending for at least one Dragonball RPG? Goku didn't fall for Raditz's words, so he deattached his tail for the second Beam Cannon, so he got out of the way. I remembers playing this game with my brother, and I can personally say this is one of the best games I ever played and even for the quality of the game from back then is amazing
Burst Limit has always been one of my favourite fighting games ever made. It singlehandedly got me into the DBZ series, and was the first fighting game I ever played after Smash Bros. This game means a lot to me and is just a really polished Budokai experience.
This was my favorite Dragon ball game tbh. It's waaaaaaaay ahead of its time. All it lacked was the later sagas like buu, future, & gt and honestly could of went into movies with Bojack, Super 13, Super 17, Fusion reborn, and metal cooler. The game was damn near perfect and could of went further but idk why it didn't. Maybe people didn't know about it or they didn't care for it at the time. Sad
this is the best dbz fighter imo simple yet elegant lot of mechanics they never explain. if you press right trigger and attack after knocking back your oppenent you can tele behind them and keep knocking them around as long as you have ki.. and if you spam dodge faster than your opponent spams light attack you'll dodge without moving its pretty sweet

this game, this awesome game, is my first dragon ball z game, it got me hook to the dragon ball universe. brings back good memories that lasted a lifetime, thank you for showing love to my childhood, thank you :)
This really was the vibe on ps3, Raging Blast was good too but Burst Limit was my favorite with how it played and at the time was the first game to really look close to the anime art style whereas with raging blast I enjoyed ultimate Ninja storm style fighting

I’ve been praying for a decade now for part 2…. Imagine Jiren and all super characters in this graphic. Imagine charging ki very matters in terms of maintaining transformations. Imagine no more dramatic piece. Imagine 3v3. Imagine story mode like Infinite World. Imagine fight camera like Shin Budokai 2. Imagine no spamming combos like Fighterz and make it fun again. Imagine you can appear behind your opponent like Budokai 3 and who’s ki goes down first get combos. Imagine making bean struggles fun again. Imagine you can countered your opponents’s finishers like Budokai 2 and 3. Imagine Burst Limits’s dragon rush but with beautiful fast actions and animation while you smash buttons. Till this day Budokai3/InfiniteWorld/BurstLimit is still my favorite DBZ games.
Burst limit is the first thing I saw of dragon ball. The second was the omega shenron fight in gt and ssj4 gogeta fusion. Both were great experiences that got me into the series a long time ago
This game was absolutely gorgeous and captured the perfect animation and graphics/art style for a dbz game. To me this why I couldn’t get into raging blast. It felt like a step down. This game was boots on the ground, top notch 2D fighting that kept the formula from the successful bufonas series and improved on it. Till this day it holds down even at the 9th gen of consoles
BURST LIMIT EVO 2021. I Still love this game. I love that it has similar Mechanics to Shin Budokai on PSP. This game is one of my Best Birthday Presents.
Seeing anything on burst limit is so great, most underrated DBZ game of all time, that amount of overconfidence in the first game is more suited to Vegeta than Krillin though
