Love to see your ideas and solutions evolve! I was wondering what kind of wire you used. Your tips are interesting and helpful and the end result is fantastic! Can't wait for the next update! Thanks for sharing Gary!
I enjoyed your video. I think that it is normal that our work gets better the more we do it. It is hard to not learn...especially if a person cares the way that you do. What kind of work will you be doing in 10 years? I hope to see it. Cheers
Thank you! I am working on a series of full size circus sideshow posters (that move) and should be able to get back to focusing on them in January. I would love to add trick boxes and marionettes to the list of things I make, and working in metal is a dream of mine that probably fits into that 10 year timeline - the exact things I will be making I'm kind of leaving up to the future. I will probably have to continue to find that balance between what I want to make and what people are willing to buy.
I am so glad you found me. You're welcome to swing by the shop any time if you want to see what I'm working on. I'm @spetzlerdesigns on Instagram if you want to message me directly.
The arms are in different positions And it makes them look like they have more character... Especially The person on The left whereas his arm was straight down now it is slightly tilted forward
Good eye. I do tend to pay attention to the default position of the arms a lot more than I used to. All of the arms are somewhat adjustable (the arms are not glued solid, but jointed with a piece of leather cord that allows me to rotate them), so you can re-position the arms of all of these robots to some degree. They may go back to the default position over time though, so it's still important where they are rotated when I first glue them.
Yes. That was my first thought too. The two companies I contacted to make one for me told me that the size is too small and detailed for them to turn into a brand. I haven't tried any others recently. That would be ideal though.
My apologies. I am old enough that I've lost the ability to hear high frequency sounds. I can't hear the sound, so I'm not sure how to know if it's there. I'll try turning off all the equipment in the shop. Hopefully it's not my desk light.

This is a very cool project, impressive design and problem solving!
Thank you very much!
This is beautiful.

Have you considered using a branding iron for your logo?

Sorry, but you have a very high frequency noise that gives me a headache
Please fix it in later videos
