my favorite song in the album. I think that's the perfect execution of what they tried to show in this album, without losing their essence, thats the old a7x that we know, but creating something really new

It’s an absolutely killer track. Definitely the new take on “old Avenged Sevenfold”.

This song is the perfect bridge of giving their old fans a slice of the HEAVY while also playing along with the idea of being a prog. album. What a fuckin’ banger of a track!!

@@MirceaKitsune it's interesting and funny how people didn't see to like Ordinary, I personally love it, is like: come on, this is fun and hillarious, imagine creating a playlist with Earth, Wind and Fire, Early Michael Jackson, BeeGess, Kool and the Gang and then freaking Ordinary starts to play XD

I'm so happy you mentioned that part sounded like Unbound. It had felt familiar to me, and as I was going over it in my head I would keep skipping into a different melody and I couldn't place it. Now I know.
Side note, it's been really funny to see people react to this, because everyone either loves it or hates it, with seemingly no in-between.

This song was such a cool concept. As a huge fan of the Truman show movie I instantly caught the line on the first listen. At first it didn’t make sense to me but the fact that the song is about a fake world and the Truman show was about him living in a fake world that was fully controlled real showed me that nothing on this album was just a lucky chance to be good. It was all 100% thought out. Real passionate music making from them again.

Parts of this and the first half of the album: This goes back to City Of Evil era if not a bit before it... not too much, you can just tell the instrumentals made a slight return to the incredible pieces they'd do back then too. Of course modernized in the style they've been doing lately, you can still tell it was made after The Stage and continuing on its great path.

I think my favorite track on the album would have to be "Cosmic". I've been a fan of Avenged Sevenfold for quite a while, not my favorite band, but they're up there with many favorites. I think the album is pretty cool, always respect when a band gets more creative, and they did things pretty uniquely, so i dig it. Not my fav album of theirs but its cool. I have a question for you Don, or anyone else thats been a fan a while. There is a vocal melody on "Cosmic" that seems reminiscent of another track from theirs, but i cant place it. Does anyone else get reminded of another song from the vocal melody during the chorus? Either way, I love it.
