@@CrasherX2000 Yeah, but it's harder to get ambushed in 4, and when you do get ambushed, it's usually your own fault. In Nocturne you're basically just praying to Kagutsuchi nothing bad will happen :P

The First Amala network exploration is objectively the hardest part of nocturne though. Barely any item/healing, tanky enemies, pretty crappy demons and no save points until boss room.
Since writing this comment I’ve actually started (among other Megaten titles) the first DDS game, which has been my first non-persona Megaten game…and it’s been surprisingly lenient with its encounters (up until Destinyland, that is).
