Very cool to see some affordable cymbals on the market with tasty flavor, punching up towards Meinl and undercutting Sabian's rebrand. Nice!

I think these more closely resemble the Meinl Dark series. The Zultan Raw series compares very closely with Meinl Extra Dry.

    Super gutes Zeug!
Ich spiel die 15“ hats und das 22“ Ride auch im Rock/punkigeren Bereich! In Mischung mit nem 20er raw Crash und 18“ und 19“ q Crash!
    Meine absolute Lieblings combo!
Eure Becken sind der absolute Wahnsinn... und bald Versuch ich noch diverse cymbals der „cs“ und der „Heritage“ Serien aus... bin gespannt!

This beauties sound like heaven! How is their volume in general? Not too quiet?
I can't tell just from the video since on your channel all cymbals are processed at somewhat the same volume. Say, in comparison to q series ( for which people say that are bit on a quiet side), how does the Dune series stand?
By the way, your channel is great and cymbals are just awesome! I am in searching for new cymbals (rock/pop/funk genre) and for now I just know it's gonna be something from Zultan's kitchen :) So far, q and dune series are amongst the most beautiful sounding to my ear.

It's a little awkward that shipping to USA from Thomann drives the price up almost by a full 100$. But I guess if they were to ship them that cost would be in the retail price anyway.

@@luctusvade Hi, yes, generally these are suited for Rock, too. They are made in the style of Zildjian Special Dry or the raw Meinl Byzance models that are played by many of todays rockdrummers. But you should keep in mind that thin and dark cymbals always lack the upper frequencies and therefor better projection that thicker, stiffer cymbals have. So these will not be the best choice if you have to fight big amp stacks without mics or on big stages. Does that help? cheers Max
