- Welcome to our annual Monster Energy Preview Shows for the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. The season will be kicking off in just a couple of days inside Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, and the competition is expected to be fierce. Racer X's Jason Weigandt welcomes Steve Matthes and Jason Thomas back as the trio prepares you for the upcoming season.
In Episode 5, it's all about the parity of the 250SX class. Split between East and West, you never really know what you're going to get out of the talented field of 250SX riders, but Weigandt, Matthes, and Thomas will do their best to break it down. They dive deeper into expectations for Haiden Deegan, RJ Hampshire, Levi Kitchen, Cameron McAdoo, Jo Shimoda, Austin Forkner, Tom Vialle, Enzo Lopes, and many more ahead of the opening round this weekend.

For long-time MX fans like myself, this sort of media is simply awesome. 40 years ago we had to wait months to see race action in magazines and the text would be based on the biases of certain magazine writers. The RacerX/Pulp guys are the very best in my opinion. Well done !!
I, for one, am not eager to hear about Deegan. Too much attention too early, I didn't like how he raced his teammate or Hunter. I get a smug punkass/Barcia vibe from him that puts me off.

JO getting out of the PC death cult will be something to watch.
In my opinion I’m most excited for the debut of nick Romano on the east coast this year. The kid flys and he’s had a chance to race the past two supercross seasons but he’s struggled a lot with injuries.

Agreed with Steve. Jet is great and will win races but not the whole series. I don't think he will gap the field in supercross the way he does in outdoors. I think Tomac will win the series.....
